The Blue Note bar was hosting a party for all the bands that have performed there. She got all dressed up and put in her extensions and did her make up. She got an Uber and headed to the Blue Note. She got in and went straight to the bar got her Vodka Cranberry and shots of patron then found Micah and the band "hey.." she said as the server brought her drinks to her.
She did a shot then she took a sip of her vodka drink. "Rose.." Micah said
"Yeah.." she said
He said "Looking good tonight baby girl."
She did a spin and said "Thanks.."
"See you got some new ink and a thigh one too.. sexy." Micah said

Then about two hours into the party the DJ said "Alright everyone let's get this night started."
Everyone looked up at the DJ as they were drinking their drinks. "The reason why we told you all to come in the email and be dressed up. Is because we would like to have us our own awards and we will do things our way." the DJ said
"So that being said let's get started sit back enjoy your drinks and your night.." The DJ said
They started to name off the categories that they made up for the party. Steel Rose won for Best Comeback. Bucky and his band Whiskey and Roses won Best Performance for their New Year's Eve show that they put on. Then after they did a few categories the DJ said "Now I'm about to give you all a very special treat and these two people don't even know about this. I need Rose and James up here on this stage right now! We are about to have our two best singers in the circuit do a duet."
Marissa did her last two shots as Bucky finished off his drink. They found their guitars when the DJ told them what song they would singing which was "Misery" by Pink and Steven Tyler. Which is a song that both bands have had on their set lists previously. They both did the guitar solo together.
After they performed she went over to her table and got her smokes and went outside. She was trying to get her lighter to work when a lighter lit her cigarette. He pulled her to the back of the bar.
"Fucking hell you look fucking gorgeous tonight darlin." he said
She smiled "I love when you call me darlin..it sounds so fucking sexy.." she said as she grabbed his shirt and pulled him closer. "Mmm gave up fuck buddy and boyfriend yet.." he said
She bit her lip "What's one night gonna hurt huh? " she said
"Sorry darlin not when you look this good..hope you have fun with your fuck buddy.." he said
Her mouth dropped "You are turning me down." she said
He walked backwards "I told you.." he said then he took off on his bike.
She went back to the party and called an Uber to take her home cause she seen Micah with a blonde on his lap. She got home and slept off everything Micah texted her the next morning to make sure she made it home safe cause she was late to rehearsal.
"Yeah I'll be there soon." she said
She got dressed and headed to Micah's place for rehearsal "So you wanna talk about last night you seemed pissed.." he said
"No..I just want to play and forget about it.." she said
She looked at their schedule and saw that they were booked at the Blue Note in three weeks for their fall preview. "Cancel this." she said then she left.
"Rissa if we miss this then we can't play there till next year.." he said
"Fine you know what then do it without me.." she said with a cigarette in her mouth.
"What's wrong.." he said
"For someone whose known for the biggest player bad boy he seems pretty adament about me being single before he will sleep with me.." she said
"Just let it go and perform or do what you do best let it out in a song." he said
"Sure.." she said then she left and went to cheer practice.
