His Muse,Her Weakness

Prologue

Marissa Taylor a red headed blue eye dream girl who is a cheerleader and a twin to her brother Mitchell Taylor one of the best running backs. Her pouty lips her porcelian skin everything about her all the way down to her freckles made one boy crazy and that was Bucky Barnes. He may have been a football player but him and his friends had a band together behind closed doors. 

His dad would let them use the auto shop after hours to practice. Bucky and them did alot of covers but then started to dabble in writing including a few songs about Marissa. The summer before their 8th grade year of school was the worse summer ever. 

Bucky lost his dad after he had a heart attack he lost himself that summer he quit all sports. Winnie felt like she was losing control with him cause he started to smoke and drink all he wanted to do was be left alone with his guitar and his bottle of Jack. But then there was someone else having an even worse summer. 

Mitchell went running to his parents "Mom dad something is wrong with Marissa..she was fine one minute then she suddenly wasn't making any sense and collapsed." he said 

John went running to find Marissa on the floor of her room "Wake up baby come back to daddy." he said 

They rushed Marissa to the hospital Mitchell told the doctors what happened. They rushed her into a CT scan. They came back in a few hours later once they got their results "Mrs Taylor Dr Taylor..we found 2 ping pong size tumors on your daughter's brain. We are going to go in perform the surgery to remove them and we will do chemo just to be safe." Dr Rebecca Barnes said 

"Thanks Becca"  John said 

"Of course Dr Taylor. We need to go ahead and test him if they are twins." Rebecca said 

"Okay..it might answer why he's been so sick lately." Ella said 

Mitchell looked at his sister as he followed the nurse to get tests done. They came back in a few hours later with test results. Rebecca came in said "how long has Mitchell been sick?' 

"Mitchell has had alot of fevers sometimes he can't go to practice cause he's in so much pain at his joints but I haven't really .." Ella said

"Probably no less than a year Rebecca.." John said 

"Your son is in Stage 2 of luekemia ...she is in the very early stages. Has she had any symptoms before today." Rebecca said 

"She's been complaing of alot of headaches and wearing her glasses more." John said 

We will get them both started on chemo and I'll go ahead and schedule her surgery. By the end of the summer both Marissa and Mitchell were enrolled in home school and Bucky was to far gone to even care about school. 

A year later Marissa was cancer free and her hair was finally starting to grow back out but in order to keep her cancer a secret she got extensions to put in before freshmen year started. She was back on the cheer squad but not as happy or bubbly cause she was the one person that could help her brother but because they were both battling cancer the doctors told her she couldn't and after a year of both of them fighting she won her fight but Mitchell did not. 

Marissa took it hard but nobody knew how hard it was on her to lose her brother not even her friends or boyfriend.
