There it is... I know I not allowed to open it, but I think I'm old enough... I've wondered what lied in that dusty old box ever since I was six. Sure, it took me eleven long years to finally get the guts to open, but it's not like it's going anywhere! You know what, this NEEDS to be a glorious moment and I don't think it'd live up to it's potential if I'm just in my boxers and tank top. I slowly stand up and stealthily tip-toe up the creaky old stairs, luckily not making a sound! I go straight into my temporary bedroom in Grandma Nina's house. I quickly put on some sweats and take a camera to take pictures of the things inside the box(just in case I don't have time to look at them all or if there won't be a next time). My emotions get the better of me as I race down the stairs as the old house is filled with loud creaks and tha-dups. I just hope Grandma Nina didn't wake up... I make my way over to the box and kneel in front of it. As I lift my hand to open the box I realize it's shaking. Oh, wait, my whole body's shaking! I try to stop, but my efforts were in vain. I'M JUST SO DANG EXCITED!!!! Oh, well, I start over again. I lift up my hand and guide it towards the latch of of the box. I flip it open an lift the lid of the box. I see an old photo of a young girl. She looks no older than fourteen. She reminds me of Grandma Nina, but I can't be sure. The photo is just too damaged to be sure. Then my eyes lay on a picture of a beautiful landscape! I pic it up to get a better look. If only it wasn't so dark, maybe I coul- "FARAMUND CONOR KEYS, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!" "süßer Honig-Eistee."
