I stared at the ceiling as I waited for my alarm to go off. My bed felt safe; I didn't want to leave it's hold. My alarm clock started to beep right on time. I brought my hand down on it and sighed. I got up the courage and then stepped out of bed. I looked around at my apartment, it was a one bedroom place. After my mother died and my father....became hard to live with, I got my own place. Living by myself has been hard, but it has been for the better. I put a hand through my hair and then walked into the bathroom. I needed to wash my hair.

I walked down the complex's stairwell and passed by Willy who was on his way up. He's the complex's maintenance guy. "Have a good day" Willy said to me.

"I'll try" I replied.

I sat waiting on the curb for the school bus. Rain sprinkled lightly from the dark gray sky. The rain was icy cold as it fell. I yawned as I waited, the bus should be here soon.

"Help me, he stole my purse!" a lady yelled. I shot to my feet and looked across the street; a man was running holding a small red purse. I ran into the street, but then felt something hit me hard from the side causing me to fall. I got back on my feet. "Hey watch where you're going!" a man yelled. I turned and saw I had been hit by a taxi who just barely stopped in time. "sorry" I said quickly before making it to the other side of the street, I saw that the thief was more then half way up a fire escape. I took a deep breath and then jumped. I jumped from the street to the top of the building. I landed with a thud as I kind of awkwardly rolled. I brushed the dirt off of me and then walked over to the top of the fire escape. I saw the thief throw the purse onto the roof, so I caught it. He scrambled onto the roof top before noticing me. The thief pulled out a knife. "Give up the purse girly" he said threateningly. I lifted a hand and poured my feeling into it, all the guilt I felt about mom, about my... brother. The man faltered, so I grabbed his knife. "You feel guilty about stealing that poor woman's purse, you want to apologize and return it" I said. The thief looked conflicted, but then relented. "I want to return her purse" the thief said. I shoved the purse into his hands. "Go" I commanded. The thief quickly climbed down the fire escape. I looked across the street from the top of the building; the bus was leaving.

I slammed my locker shut and ran to my first period class, I was late. I walked into to class and sneaked to my seat. "This was Greyhound, a vigilante in New York, some of you may have heard of him, he was a vigilante probably when you all were in grade school" Mr.Ghery explained. The next picture he pulled up showed more of Greyhounds torso, painted on the suit was a Greyhound. Pretty neat suit. "He fought crime, brought justice to many criminals, and saved lives, but things happen,", Mr.Ghery said grimly, "Greyhound was fighting the supervillain Soul Reaper, A man who basically ate souls, and Greyhound eventually defeated Soul Reaper, but he got many people killed in the process". How could he eat souls?

I walked down the hallway carrying papers I needed for the next class. I strolled by two boys talking about Zombie shooters 4, I loved that game! But I haven't had a Voxoe console since Zombie shooters 2. I thought about asking them if I could come over and play it, but I was saved from embarrassment by being knocked over by a girl. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry," the girl said. I started to gather the papers I dropped. "It's alright I wasn't paying attention" I said before walking to my next class.

That night after I got home, I climbed out of my apartment's window. I climbed the fire escape to the top of my apartment building. I looked over at the building across the street, and took a deep breath. I started to run and then leaped across the street to the roof of the other building. I kept my momentum and just kept leaping from roof to roof.  I landed on the top of some random building and perched on the ledge of it.
I heard a man yelp and then beg for mercy. I looked down and saw a masked man with a gun pointed at an innocent citizen. I took a breath, pulled my mask on, and then jumped.

I landed in front of the mugger and pushed his gun to the side. "Hello" I greeted to him. He stuttered something and then I punched him in the face. "Goodbye" I said with a sly grin. I helped the victim up. "Thank you miss, I thought I was a goner" He said. I picked up the pistol and took the clip out and threw it far away. "I don't know how long he'll stay down, so I'd call the police" I told him. I jumped up onto the building. "Wait! Who should I say saved me!" He yelled up with wonder in his voice. I looked down and shouted, "Eden".
