Demigods in highschool (Percy Jackson Fanfiction)

Ch.35

-Percy's POV-

I had been looking for Annabeth for almost 30 minutes. I mean really how was I expected to wait that long to see my wisegirl. The last place I saw her was at the dinning pavilion for breakfast and that was almost an hour
ago. How was I supposed to enjoy my day at Camp Half-Blood without her.
:( Right then Leo came bounding up to me

"Have you seen the signs? There is a Camp Half-Blood talent show! I'm thinking of doing a solo of we can't stop, by Miley Cyrus. Eh, Eh. It's going to be pretty great." babbled Leo as he walked away softly singing the song to himself. I gave up looking for Annabeth a few minutes later and I heard a lot of yelling going on in Leo's cabin. Usually that would be normal but then I heard voices that sure as Hades did, not belong in that cabin.

"Dude, there is NO way I'm singing that song! It's embarrassing!" that voice sounded like Franks, but I wasn't sure.

"As embarrassing as singing opera?" said a voice that cracked in the middle of the sentence.

"Listen people, it's obvious what we should sing" said a voice I hadn't heard in a while, without a further thought I ran in there and hugged Conner Stoll.

"It's been a while, man" I shouted as I stepped away

"Ya I know, listen so we have a problem we are all going to do a group performance at the talent show and we would love for you to join us but we all disagree on what song we should sing, so were hoping you have a good idea.?" Conner said back

"Oh I have a great idea... Under the Sea from the little mermaid! Oh ya who's with me."

"NO ONE!!!" They all shouted back in unison

"Oh ya, and what exactly did you have
in mind?" and they all started yelling what they wanted to sing. Around 15 minutes later I figured out what they wanted to sing

Frank- French/Canadian opera

Conner/Travis- It's not about the money (but changing the not with all)

Leo- Miss movin on

When I heard the last one I was just like

"Wait, WHAT! Leo were not misses!" I said as I gestured to all of us.

"Well whatever" he said.

"Listen people, I know I'm not the most organized person in the world but I think I know what we should do. I grabbed a soiled and oily rag from a bedside table that belonged to one of the Hephatus children and I also grabbed a construction pencil and made a list of all of the songs.

"Frank, not all of us can sing opera sorry" and I crossed opera off the list

"Leo I just don't think it would work for us to sing a totally female song, sorry." and that was crossed off.

"Stolls I think it would bother people if we sang that, sorry" and now there was only one song left...

"I guess our only option is... UNDER THE SEA!!!" I said

" NO " they once again, shouted in unison. And everything broke into chaos again.

-Annabeth's POV-

We were practicing in the Hera cabin because no one goes in there but while we were in there a voice was echoing around saying negative things, and it was no doubt... Hera. So we moved to the Zeus cabin because Thalia was with us so we wouldn't get blasted by lightning. We had decided to preform the song "thanks for making me a fighter" and it was awesome. Here is a list of the demigods that are doing it

Me (Annabeth)

It was going to be awesome. We were all headed to the canoe lake for a swimming brake and we heard yelling coming from the Hephatus cabin. We were about to go in when Percy, Frank, Leo, Travis, and Conner came barreling out of the cabin looking like they were about to punch each other.

"What's going on?" I asked

"Oh nothing were just trying to decide which awesome song we are going to do at the talent show. And you know, it's hard to pick one song out of 4 great ones." said Frank trying to play it cool.

"Dude opera is NOT cool." Percy whisper screamed into Frank's ear

"Oh ya well nether is Under the Sea." Frank whisper screamed right back.

"Excuse me!" said a sassy sounding Percy, and at this point Frank and Percy just had their backs turned to us and had abandoned whispering.

"Hey boys, FYI turning away from us doesn't prevent us from hearing you." Reyna exclaimed and when they kept on ignoring us I said

" Oh and we think you should know that we are all entering as a group to." with that all of the boys turned back to us in surprise

"Um... we're not worried we're totally going to beat you." Said Percy

"Really?" said Piper sarcastically

"Really, sista" Leo replied

"I'm not your sister!" said Piper

"Whatever just bring it on!" said Leo

"Oh we'll bring it." me and the girls said as we narrowed our eyes and walked away.
