You've Hurt Me

You’ve hurt me

Turned me away

Especially when I needed you most

You’ve hurt me

Talked me down

And expected me not to notice

You’ve hurt me

Because of you I hurt myself

And I hide the marks the blade makes

You’ve hurt me

Ignored me

And got offended when I did the same to you

You’ve hurt me

So now I find joy in hurting those around me

Because I fear they will hurt me too

You’ve hurt me

I’m afraid to tell you anything

Because you roll your eyes

You’ve hurt me

I want to yell and scream at you

I want to tell you how much...

You’ve hurt me.
