I decide to go and look for Peeta. Its now 8:47. The bakery is only 20 minutes from Victors Village.
I check the bakery first. I try the door and it's still unlocked. The bakery was meant to close two hours ago.
There is nobody in the front part of the bakery so I check behind the counter. Peetas coat is still in the compartment under the till.
I check Peetas office and there is still no sign.
I'm just turning to go when I here something rustling behind me.
"Katniss ?" It's Peeta "Katniss is that you ?"
"Peeta ? Where are you ?"
"Behind the desk"
"Oh my god Peeta !"
Peetas chest is covered in blood.
"What happened to you ?"
"Just help me up I'll explain later"
"No Peeta tell me now"
"Okay just help me up"
I lift him up from the ground and reach for the phone.
"What are you doing ?" Peeta asks.
"Calling an ambulance"
"No Katniss don't."
"Peeta you need help!"
"It's only a minor cut"
"So that's why you were on the floor"
Peeta just looks down refusing to tell me what happened. Maybe a doctor could get it out of him.
