"We need to talk" Yang said, the others had gone out to meet their parents to get picked up from Vale, however Yang had stayed behind
"You've been standoffish all year and I think I know why" Yang looked at Y/N who was busy on his scroll, he lowered it after a moment, "hm? Oh right, why then?" He asked
"You're not just a Y/N, your our Y/N" Yang looked at him. Y/N didn't reply. He just clenched his fist for a moment. "I....don't know what you mean" he lied
"A few years back, Ruby and me had a brother, but he left and didn't come back.." Yang said quietly
"And why was that?" Y/N asked her, barely able to keep the angry tone from his voice
"Because...." Yang paused quietly as he Reyes welled up
"Don't give me that, you know exactly why I left" Y/N said angrily all of a sudden
"Y/N, please-"
"No, you don't deserve it, and quite frankly, I deserved better" Y/N said "I won't be coming back to patch this summer" he said, turning away from her, "I don't care if you tell that bastard"
"He's your dad, OUR dad" Yang said, takin a step forward
"No Yang, he WAS my dad, now he's yours and Ruby's problem" Y/N looked at Yang again, folding his arms
"You think it was easy telling Ruby that you ran away?" Yang questioned loudly, unbeknownst to the pair, there was someone listening at the door, silently crying as they listened to them argue.
"Did you bother telling her why, or did that ruin your perfect little household?" Y/N asked before he shook his head in disgust
"I can see why Raven left.." he spat quietly before he raised his left hand to block a swing from Yang. "Heh....I guess old habits.." he slowly pushed her arm back before twisting his around and grabbing it "die hard" he finished before using the power stone and clenching his fist, breaking it.
Yang let out a yell of pain before withdrawing her now broken arm. "I'm sorry..." she whispered
"Sorry won't bring either of our mothers back" he said quietly, "and it won't kick Tai Xiao Long's ass, so don't 'sorry' me ever again" Y/N walked to the door and the person hurried out of the way, once Y/N had gone, the person peeped back around the door and stared at Yang who was looking at her arm in pain and sadness
"Why did Y/N leave us?" Ruby asked Yang
