Port looked around the class, team RWBBY were in various stages of interest, Blake Yang and Y/N were all paying attention as Ruby slept quietly, Weiss looked at her briefly as Port continued his speech
Y/N followed Weiss's gaze to the sleeping Ruby, reached over and patted her on the head, with his gauntet, Ruby woke up with a start and her silver eyes widened
"Wake up" Y/N whispered
"The moral of this story? A true Huntsman must be honorable!"
Ruby was now balancing an apple on a book with her pencil held only by her finger while making a silly face.
"A true Huntsman must be dependable!"
Ruby once again fell asleep again in the first class of the year.
"A true Huntsman must be strategic, well-educated, and wise!"
Ruby now started not-so-subtly picking her nose, much to Weiss' building anger. Y/N pulled a repulsed face and scooted away from her slightly.
"So, who among you believes themselves to be the embodiment of these traits?" Weiss furiously raised her hand "I do, sir!"
"Then step forth and face your opponent!" Port said dramatically, unveiling a cage with glowing red eyes.
"Glad that I didn't say anything." Y/N said quietly, just as Port appeared in front of him "is there something you wish to add Mr Branwen?"
Y/N quickly looked up in surprise as the mustached man leant over him "perhaps you would like to face a creature of Grimm too?" He said
Y/N shrugged and stood up "Alright..." he said, following Weiss out to get his combat gear, despite the fact he already had his gauntlet on, as always.
