The first night at Beacon, students are splayed out in sleeping bags. (Y/N), in shorts and a t-shirt and, is writing in his journal when Ruby crashes next to him, in her pajamas.
"Hello" she said loudly as Y/N jumped about a foot in the air and scowled a little "don't do that" he said
"Sorry" Ruby said sheepishly, "what are you writing in?" She asked, only to be ignored, Yang's big sister senses started to tingle and somehow she appeared before them
"She asked you a question"
"I chose not to answer"
"What's your problem"
"PTSD and the thought of this conversation continuing all night" Y/N shot back, clenching his fists, the power stone glowing
Yang scowled as she clenched her own fists before ruby appeared between them "stop it you two!" She yelled
"Look Ruby, you and Yang over here should clear off before I lose it" Y/N said as he stood up.
"Wait how did he know our.." Yang looked at the boy, something seemed familiar about him
Y/N stood up and started to walk off, "screw this, I'll sleep somewhere else" he said, stomping off with his sleeping bag and belongings
Ruby watched him go and sighed quietly.
"Great job Yang"
