Mehendi is a traditional ceremony in India. It is mostly celebrated by the bride's family. The ceremony includes applying of mehendi or henna on the bride's hand by some relative or henna designers. It is also celebrated by the groom's family where the family members apply a little mehendi on the groom's hand and enjoy the day with aunties playing dholak and singing geet.

The backyard was prepared beautifully by Saif. It was decked in white orchids and blue draperies. The lighting adding a spark to the décor. The chairs were systemically kept, giving the entire backyard a royal look. Everyone were mesmerised looking the preparation. The girls looked in Aww. The elders were pleased because Saif had done a good job, but the person himself was missing.

"Masha Allah." Farah exclaimed looking around while everyone started praising Saif, for his amazing work.

Rida couldn't help but feel a little happy on Saif's effort. She knew he was perfect for her best friend but couldn't she enjoy a little looking how hard can he try to get Safa back in his life.

"He did a great job." Rida said looking at Farheen, smiling while she nodded her head.

"Alhamdulillah blessed with the best jeej." Farheen said giggling slightly and Rida couldn't help but agree in her heart but wouldn't show it.

"Whoa, Masha Allah Saif did an amazing work." Rehan said walking inside while everyone turned to him hoping for Saif.

"Yes indeed, he isn't like you." Farheen remarked while Rehan was about to fire back his sarcastic remark but kept quiet when he saw Rida eyeing her.

"Where is Saif, Rehan?" Rida asked Rehan walking towards him.

"I have no idea." He said showing his eyes to Rida and she instantly got what he meant.

"Oh okay." Rida said and Rehan smiled at her.

"You look beautiful." He said smiling at her and she blushed a little.

Rida was wearing a navy blue Maxi skirt and a white coloured blouse that was perfectly tucked inside her skirt. She was wearing a nearby blue hijab that covered her making her feel comfortable.

She was hesitant on wearing some colour, because she never did it great with colours, but her mom had actually scolded her and had warned to wear anything but not dull colours. She has sighed and when she was searching for a dress, Safa's mother had gifted her a dress saying she would be upset if she wouldn't wear the gift and here she was sulking in this dress, that was amazing but not meant for a girl like Rida, who preferred black over everything.

"You don't look that bad either." Rida said eyeing his navy blue pant and a white formal shirt.

She never was good at complimenting boys, and face to face? She sucked it at badly but she could be good in chats, though.

"I'm honoured." He said sarcastically bowing a little making her flip her hijab, that was a rare scene, because she would hardly make any comments.

"Well you deserve a little praising too." She said and he glared at her. She had started opening to him and he liked that side of her much.

"I'm always praised." He said smirking at her, trying to know what would she comment mark on such a thing.

"Yeah, but you know there's a difference' between dreams and reality." She said smiling cheekily at him and he was amazed to see how much she had in her that she was hiding. He was now eager to know more of this girl in front of him.

"Girls die for me." He said folding his arms wanting to prove her wrong, and maybe just talk a little more to her.

"Mistaken. They die because of you. Look at you how ugly you are. You should be happy that you have me at least otherwise you would have been sulking in this world." He said and he looked at her with his jaw dropped.
