The Evil Queen

Chapter 44

ALEX'S POV

I wake up from muffled screams and loud bangs.
My eyes immediately dart open and I shoot out of bed.
I quickly run down the stairs towards the source of the noise. When I reach the living room I run in and stop dead in my tracks. I gasped and everyone turned to me and frowned. A woman with long black hair and brown eyes was holding Belle by the neck, choking her.
"What are you doing?!" I screamed at her. She turned towards me and smiled.
"Nice to see you've joined us." She chuckled and then dropped Belle onto the ground. I looked over to everyone that was staring and looked at them confused as they just stood there.
"Oh dear, there frozen in place and can't help you."
I thinned my eyes and shot her a death glare.
"Why are you doing this?!" I yelled at her.
"I just needed a little.. Motivation to get you down here."
I raised an eyebrow at her comment
"and why is that?"
She smiled
"so I can make a deal of course."
"who are you anyways?"
She laughed
"Well I'm The Evil Queen of course!" She said it with so much sass I nearly threw up.
My life get so much weirder by the minute.
"So what do you want?"
I crossed my arms over my chest.
"I want you in exchange for her life." She smirked and lifted Belle to her feet by the sleeve of her shirt.
"Why do you need me?" I asked her.
"I cannot tell you quite yet.. But if you don't come.. Then you can say goodbye to your precious Belle!"
She started to squeeze Belles neck and she let out a gasp. I tried to get to Belle but I couldn't move. I struggled and struggled until I couldn't anymore. "Your choice Alex!" She yelled.
"Don't do it Ale-" Belle struggled to get the words out, but I heard enough.
I knew my decision before it even began.
"OKAY!" I screamed.
The Evil Queen smiled and dropped her to the ground and released me. I quickly ran over to Belle.
"Are you okay?" I asked her as I helped her to her feet.
"Yes.. But you shouldn't have done that. Shes.. Evil."
She chocked back the lump in her throat and hugged me. "Not as Evil as me Belle" I whispered in her ear as I hugged her.
"I don't have all day!" The Queen squealed.
I let go of Belle and slowly made my way over to The Queen.
"Will you please unfreeze the others now" I whined as I looked over my shoulder to them.
"After we leave."
I smiled and walked to her side. The last thing I saw was unfrozen faces yelling and screaming to me before I disappeared with The Evil Queen.

My eyes fluttered open and the first thing I lied them on was an enormous castle in front of me.
It has sparkling glass walls/ windows and overlooked the whole forest below.
We walked up to it in silence and when we reached the gates I finally decided to speak.
"Um.. So why do you need me exactly?" "Because you will be of use to me."
She beamed.
"Why? I'm nothing special."
She laughed
"so you haven't heard of your prophecy?"

"Of course I have!"

"Well then you realize how powerful you really are." I snorted

"Yeah right.." I murmured.

When we reached The Queens "lounge" she told me to sit down and relax while she went to sort some things out around the castle. I had time to think about all the things that have been stressing me out.
First came Chris.
I want to tell him how I feel.. But I really don't know what that is.
Second there's Killian because I want to spend more time with him and maybe return to the sea soon. I also feel like we're getting really close and I don't know in which way. I really wanna figure out if he's my dad or not. I mean he doesn't seem like he's my dad. We're too flirty for that kind of relationship. I don't think he really believes the whole dad thing either.
Third is Ella who is being very nice to me and I'm not sure if I can really trust her.
What if she still wants to kill me?
The list goes on and on, but my thoughts were interrupted by the door to the lounge being flung open

*BANG!*

Some one came crashing into the room and started walking towards me on the balcony.
I quickly turned around to see the Evil Queen barge in and collapse onto the couch.
I decided to go over to her and see what was wrong.
I slowly walked over to her and stood looking down on her.
"What's wrong your highness?"
I asked very softly and smooth.
"You can just call me Regina if you'd like.."
She trailed off.
"Okay. So What's wrong Regina?"
I questioned.
"I'm just really not having a good day I guess" She stated
"I have some of those too and I really hate them."
"Yeah.." She put her head in between her hands and sighed.
"I'm kinda glad your here Alex.. Because I really am sorta- maybe- lonely.."
She whispered the last part, afraid of what I might think.
"Nobody deserves to be lonely."
She smiled and so did I.
