Chapter 39

ALEX'S POV

It took forever to finish preparing the food, but I didn't mind because while I was working on the food and making it perfect for our important guests I got to talk with Ella. She told me wonderful tales of the land and she also told me of her past being here.

When we were done in the kitchen we got ready to cater to the guests.

Once everyone arrived we brought out the food to the huge table. After everyone ate and I was heading back into the kitchen to bring some of the plates to the big sink to be washed and put away, Rumple stopped me.

"Could you please bring us some of that pie you made?"
I smiled
"of course."
"Thank you my dear!" He yelled to me while I walked away.
I wasn't really paying attention because the next thing I knew I was dropping plates everywhere and I was lying on my back, someone on top of me crushing me under them. I looked into their eyes and laughed.

"We really need to stop meeting like this Alex."
I smiled at Chris' comment.
"Uhh Chris.. Could you get off me now."
I let out a breath when he got himself off of me, making it to his feet
"sorry Alex."
I laughed and he laughed with me. Once again he held out his hand for me to take and once again I accepted.
"So what brings you here?" I asked him curiously
"my father actually. He kind of made me come. I mean I guess that's what's expected of me." I listened to him while we picked up the plates I dropped, cleaning up the broken ones as well. "Who's your father?" He hesitated for a second but gave in
"he's the king from a couple towns over ."
Didn't expect that!
"Oh. So your like a Prince huh."
He smirked
"ya I guess."
I started to walk to the counter to set the plates down, Chris hot on my trail. "So why are you here?" He asked me with as much question as I gave him. "Long story really." He raised an eyebrow
"I've got time." I ran my finger across the edge of the counter, looking down the whole time.
"Okay"

After telling Chris part of my story, leaving out stuff he didn't need to know, we talked some more about his past and other stuff that was completely random.
"So why don't you like being a Prince?" I looked over to him and stared into his enchanting eyes
"Its not as great as it's made out to be." I smiled
"everything's complicated in these realms."
He chuckled
"yeah your right about that."
I looked over to the door that lead into the hallway and remembered where I actually was and what I was to be doing.
"Oh crap! I have to get back to this.. Um it was nice to see you."
He came up to me and shook my hand. "It was very nice to see you Alexandra." I blushed, unaware of his smile when he noticed I did
"maybe we could do something sometime?" He asked me with hope. "Of course!" With that he left me in the kitchen with red cheeks and a big smile.

Later that night I lied on the bed in the extra room I was staying in, deep in thought thinking of everything that has happened to me since I was in the land of magic. I thought about flying high in the sky, the wind blowing threw my hair. I thought about believing and having happy thoughts. I thought about Neverland. I thought about Hook, Chris and even my parents.
I fell asleep thinking about everything that I've ever encountered while being in these magical realms.
That was the last night I thought about Peter Pan.
