K (aka RM) POV

Uau! The snow was really something else but this girl was breathtaking. When she fell on her butt, half naked, in front of me I could barely keep my straight face, but I was worried she would have gotten hurt so I managed not to laugh.

I had no intention of asking her out to the bar – I keep lying to myself - , I was just waiting for her to pay for the damage Yeon Tan made. However as soon as our eyes met outside the dressing room again, I decided I needed to get to know her. I didn't care about the consequences, even thought I had strict orders to lay low and stay on my room. Besides, she didn't even recognized me...

But I was starting to get in trouble. She was too perfect, and now those same blue eyes that got me into the bar were drawning me.

Maria POV

"You fit perfectly with the snow..." I whispered when he got closer to me. I would normally back out, but some kind of force was making me stay put. You fit perfectly with the snow? Do you ever think before opening your mouth?

He smiled at my silly comment and I could almost see some dimples beneath his facemask. He continued to move forward as the snow as still falling around us and now I could clearly smell him. His scent was making me lose myself. How could I have not noticed it before? Maybe the smell of cigarettes at the bar was too strong, but now that we were outside his smell mixed perfectly with the smell of the pines trees.

He was now really close to me and I broke eye contact by looking down. K softly touched my chin and made me look up again locking eyes. I should be scared, being outside in the middle of the night with a stranger that was way bigger than me. But the truth was that my heart kept on pounding not out of fear but out of anticipation. It was like if our heartbeat was getting in sync with the sound of the night.

"May I?" I said reaching slowly to his face mask. I wanted to see him. His strong hand stopped mine but instead of moving it away, he just stood there holding my hand against his face with his eyes closed. I looked at him with a smile but when he opened his eyes again - as if remembering what he was doing - I took my own hand away and stepped back. I was curious about him, but I didn't want to scare him off by getting awkward.

"Shall we get back inside?" I said in a jolly way to break out the tension. "I think they won't let us run away without paying". He just laughed in response and took my hand leading us inside.

We sat again in our places and resume talking. We had so much in common it was crazy but I also liked that there were a few things we disagreed on. I have always enjoyed a good exchange of arguments.

"I can't believe you would prefer to be able to predict the future rather than to read minds!" I was already way into making my point across, and when I get like this my talking speed multiplies by 10 and my eyes open beyond normal human standards. "Imagine what it would be like knowing what everyone was thinking around you... I would not care about knowing the future because firstly I would be too anxious about everything that was going to happen and secondly I prefer to understand people's present motivations than knowing their future actions."

"You say that because you don't see and hear what people think about you every day..." He answered with a calm that contrasted with my excitement. "Imagine being an Idol, or someone else famous, that would read online what everyone else thinks about you with no filter, just their raw thoughts and opinions about your looks, your way of acting, what you say and what you do, always comparing you with others  they think are alike. Making you incredibly happy and proud of yourself at times, but also incredibly vulnerable and doubtful on many other occasions."

His eyes traveled to the celling while he spoke, as if he was talking from experience. I got suspicious but I decided to not ask anything. He clearly didn't want me to meddle in his life.

We had been talking for hours when the bartender asked us to leave so that he could close the bar.

"Thank you for tonight" I said when we reached my room door. "You didn't have to do that but I really enjoyed it."

"You are welcome. It was my pleasure."

We got to that awkward moment from every cliché movie in history, just staring at each other in front of a close door. Should I say something or just enter my room. I don't feel like a handshake would do it, but I don't know what to do...

"Well, bye then..." I said opening the door and turning around slowly.

I was almost entering my room as a hand pulled my arm around and when I noticed my eyes were being closed down by a large hand and my lips were being kissed by him.

My breath was being stolen away.
