'A bright color in the water,

He pulled her from the lake.

Yet no one seemed to know,

If she'd ever come to wake.

The secrets from her past

Echo throughout her bones,

Though she doesn't even know

How to voice her tones.

They said to him, "Protect her."

But she didn't have a name.

Though to him it didn't matter,

And made a paper plane.

He found she was a Riddle,

And was unable to think.

For she had found a way,

To connect his missing link.

How could someone so sweet,

Truly be something so dark?

And why would something so bad

Leave this large of a mark?

Her very own father

Bit his own parents to dust,

He is the root of all evil,

So how could her he trust?

Because inside of herself,

Is a threatening monster.

How could he ever trust,

If it's him it wants to conquer?

After he thinks it all through,

None of it was ever her fault.

People are not the cause when

Someone else loosens their bolt.

She stares at the stars all night,

Wondering endlessly on life.

It wasn't you that really cut

When others sharpened the knife.

So he sits down beside her,

And they stare the constellations.

In his mind, the written answers,

When she asks a lot of questions.

In this universe, they are so small,

Though their problems galaxy wide.

Because it's okay if you lose,

If you know the best you tried.

So even if she does turn demon,

And if the war ever does occur,

He knows he would survive,

For he just needs to trust her.'
