Chapter 27 ♔

I walked down the stairs and tried to look for Daniel, but couldn't find him anywhere.

I saw Daehwi walking by and grabbed his arm, "Hey have you seen Daniel?" I asked him.

He shook his head, "No I haven't. Sorry noona!"

I nodded and walked around to ask the others. When I asked Somi, she shook her head and giggled, "Why, are you missing him already? Aren't you being a little too clingy? I'm pretty sure Daniel doesn't like those types of girls you know~"

I narrowed my eyes at her, "Yah I'm his fiancé. I have the right to worry about him."

Suddenly, Seongwoo spoke up, "Oh you're looking for Daniel? I just saw him going outside with Kelly. They probably went for a walk or something."

"Uhh ok, thanks," I nodded and headed towards the front door to look for Daniel.

As I walked outside, I heard some laughing sounds coming from the driveway.

I slowly walked across the porch and looked towards the direction of those sounds.

My eyes widened as I took in the sight in front of me.

Daniel and Kelly were laughing together with cigarettes in their mouths.

I gasped in disbelief. Since when does Daniel smoke?! How come I never knew about this?

I watched in agony as Daniel lit a cigarette between his lips and blew all the smoke on Kelly's face, causing her to giggle.

I may be overreacting about this, but smoking is a really big deal for me. Especially if someone as close as my fiancé is doing it behind my back.

If he had told me about this from the beginning...I may have tolerated it. But for me to see this all of a sudden...of course I'd be shocked.

I held back my tears and forced myself to look away from Daniel and Kelly. I couldn't bear watching them whisper in each other's ear and laugh like there's no tomorrow.

I slowly backed away from the sight and ran inside the house, slamming the door shut.

All I wanted was to go home and sleep. What am I supposed to do now?! Approach them?

No..I can't even bear looking at them after what I saw.

"Hey are you okay?" I looked up and saw Woojin looking at me in concern.

I let out a nervous laugh, "Uhh yeah...I'm totally fine haha."

"Are you sure? You don't look so good. By the way, did you find Daniel? I thought he was supposed to take you home."

I gulped, "Uhm no...he's actually busy right now. I guess I'll stay for a little longer."

He nodded and led me inside the living room, "Alright then, how about you hang out with us for a while? Minhyun hyung is making smoothies, you can't leave without trying some!"

I laughed, "That sounds good. I'll always stay for food!"

We walked into the kitchen and I took a seat on the dining bar beside Jinyoung. As soon as he saw me, he immediately got up and walked away.

Psh, no surprise there. This kid still hates me.

I looked around to see only a few Wanna One and I.O.I members left in the house. Only Minhyun, Woojin, Daehwi, Jinyoung, Doyeon, and Somi could be seen. I guess the rest must've gone home.

I sighed and rested my chin on my palms. I wonder when Daniel is going to come back...I'm still not over what I saw earlier.

Suddenly, I heard the stool beside me screech and looked to my right to see Somi taking a seat beside me.
