Chapter Twenty-Seven

After your hospital appointment, you go pick up your mother's dry cleaning and come home so it made it look like you really were running errands.

You pack a few clothes, and both get in the car as Jungkook makes his way to a restaurant, decorated with roses and different types of flowers.

You take your seat as Jungkook sits opposite you.

- "Here" he says giving you the menu.

- "Oh thank you" you reply. You look up a little and felt your heart racing. He was looking down at the menu as he concentrated hard like it was a difficult decision. You couldn't help but stare at his beautiful and mesmorising features.

- "Hi, Y/n right?" you hear as you shoot your head up. You see a very familiar face. The lady in her early forties smiled at you.

It was the little girls mother from yesterday night. The little girl whom you helped, looking for her parents.

You look down to see the little girl wrapped around her mother's leg tightly, making her look twice as adorable.

- "Oh my! Yes, hi" you reply, getting up from your seat.

- "Oh no, no. It's ok, sit down. You don't need to get up" she says kindly as you just smile at her and sit down again.

- "I just saw you and I thought I would pop over and thank you again for yesterday." The pretty lady says.

- "Oh no, it's okay! No worries, anytime! Your daughter is a delight" you say, before turning your gaze to the little girl. "Hey my little strong girl" you say, while poking her small nose lightly as she just smiles at you brightly. 

Jungkook looks at the both of you, unaware of the situation but rather intrigued. His heart melts a little as he sees you with the little girl causing him to smile faintly. The lady turns her gaze to Jungkook and smiles.

- "You guys make a wonderful couple" she adds, causing you to smile awkwardly.

- "Oh thank you" you say shaking your head a little as you carry on playing with her daughter's hand who was now laughing.

- "Thank you" Jungkook replies.

- "Make sure to stay put next to mummy, alright?" You say to the little girl, while ruffling with her hair a little as she just nods at you, making your heart melt.

- "Thank you again Y/n! And I'm sure you guys would make excellent parents!" She adds.

You look up to see Jungkook's reaction, in which he looked slightly uncomfortable. He smiled fakely at the lady, clearing his throat a little.

- "Thank you" Jungkook replies, smiling at her, whilst laughing a little awkwardly; scratching the back of his neck.

- "We should get going, nice seeing you Y/n" the lady says.

- "Oh yes! Nice seeing the both of you" you say poking the little girls nose again.

- "See you" she says in her sweet motherly tone.

- "Bye" you reply, smiling as you see them walk away.

You couldn't help but realise how Jungkook was a little awkward after her comment. He clears his throat.

- "I forgot to ask, What happened to you yesterday?" Jungkook asks, still a bit awkward.

- "Oh... I just needed some air so I went to the Han River" you reply, clearing your throat this time.
