I want to say that I'm fine;
I want to pretend
That I haven't had
At least four mental breakdowns
In the past two days.
I want to say that I've been sleeping
Even though I'm running on fumes.
I want to say I'm sorry,
But we both know
You won't accept it.
I want to say I'm happy;
That's a lie.
I want and I want and I want...
But that does not mean anything.
Not in a world with nothing.
