After breakfast, Micheal went home to get dressed and told me to do the same because we were going out on a casual outing.
I quickly went ahead to wash up after cleaning up the kitchen. I took my bath and selected a blue polka dot halter neck skater dress to wear and paired it with black high sandals. I decided to wear my hair down but took a scrunchy in case it got windy. I applied my mascara and my pink bubblegum lipgloss and sprayed my favourite Victoria's Secret perfume and I was ready.  I took a small scarf to keep me warm in case we stay out late and my little sling bag.
After a while, I heard the doorbell and I went downstairs to open up. I saw Micheal dressed well as always. I locked up the house and went towards the car with Micheal right in front of me. He opened the car door for me to step inside
What a gentleman! I thought to myself
I got inside the car and made myself comfortable. When he started driving I tried to find out where we were going to but he remained silent on the issue. He said he wanted it to be a surprise.
We rode in silence for what seemed like hours before he announced that we had gotten to our destination. I looked around and saw that we were at Champs de Mars - that's the famous picnic spot beside the Eiffel tower.  Words couldn't even start to express my joy; I've always wanted to come here but other things usually filled up my time. I don't know how he does this but he always manages to wow me with every thing he does, even the little things.
As I gazed around in wonder, the door opened and he stretched his hands for me to hold.
"My lady" he said kissing my knuckles and caressing my hands.
Goosebumps appeared on my skin from his choice of word for me. I can't really get over the fact that Micheal is my boyfriend- its so surreal.
He got to the back of his car to retrieve a picnic basket and a blanket I didn't notice before.
He must have really planned this all along
He held my hand in one of his while the basket was in the other hand. I can't believe he did all of this. Its so sweet and thoughtful of him.
We got a free spot in the middle of the garden and I helped him spread the blanket on the grass. I couldn't even help but gaze around; I still didn't believe this was actually happening; me being here in Paris- the city of love, at the Eiffel tower and its a plus because I'm with my boyfriend.
Ohhhhh...that word boyfriend; it just erupts countless beautiful feelings in my chest
I was brought out of my reverie by Micheal's voice;
"Are you back from dreamland? Because I'm a little hungry"
I blushed a deep shade of red before settling down on the blanket and pulling out the food wrapped carefully in the basket.
As I was busy with that, I felt large hands on my waist dragging me close to a warm chest. I squealed before relaxing into Micheal's chest.
I felt his hot breath on my neck before he started trailing small kisses down my neck... so soft and featherlike....
"Miche..." I started
But it was in that moment he turned me around and silenced me with a kiss; the type of kiss that brings butterflies to your tummy
When he released me, he smiled and pecked my forehead before letting me go.
The rest of the day was so lovely. We ate, danced, sang along to a song and talked about so many things. I got to tell him about my life- everything that happened; my mum's death, Christian, Emily and why we moved down to Paris. I felt like we were really moving forward. I wanted to get past my past life and since we were in a relationship, telling him felt like the best thing to do.
After our little picnic, we packed up our things, went up to the Eiffel tower and took several pictures. It was really lovely and should I say romantic. I had always wanted to come here and now being here was like a dream come true- being here with the love of my life was also an added bonus.
By the time we finally left, the sun had set and I was really tired. He dropped me off with a kiss. I trudged upstairs and without changing out of my dress, I collapsed on my bed and slept off.
