"You so look like a baby right now." He whispered in my ears. It was kind of very embarrassing to hear a baby call me a baby.

"You are a baby!" I refuted in response. At that moment, I raised my head on his shoulder and found that everyone was staring at us in silence. I had said it very loudly. My face must have become as red as a tomato in a split second. I was so good at embarrassing myself all the time and he gets to act cool. Lady luck was so unfair to me.

"You're the one who is acting like one," Black whispered again, ignoring all those gazes that were upon us as if only we two existed in the world.

"How am I acting? And you are the one who always acts like a baby," I replied, but this time in a very low voice. I didn't want to attract any more attention. Though I could feel stares, I could only deny their existence in my heart.

"A very big baby..." I murmured.

"Do all babies feel this good when you hold them?" My Black continued on that topic. "I don't think so to be honest."

"Everyone's looking at us..." I informed him so that he would deal with the surrounding people first.

"So you don't like being looked. Well, that's alright." Black said to me and then turned around to look at the students that had gathered around us. By that time some people had started chatting amongst themselves about the mystical thing that had happened a while ago. Some had frightened gaze, while others looked at him in amazement and fascination.

"You may leave now." My Black said loudly. His tone was firm and determined, as if he was commanding them. There was a certain aura in his voice that people couldn't stop themselves from instinctively obeying. Even I felt like obeying him.

"Aren't you afraid that your appearance will spread everywhere? I don't mind being a celebrity because of this, but I don't think you want everyone to know your presence." I was concerned about him. Some bad demons were coming after him. He might be the strongest angel, but he doesn't like bloodshed and I wouldn't like to see him do things he didn't want to do.

"Awe... My angel is so caring." Black teased me, but yea, it was the truth. I couldn't deny.

I thought he would do the same thing he did to the police officers when he was over the speed limit. But instead of doing that, my Black turned to the other side and spoke to the crowd.

"You all should leave too." All the people followed his order.

Perhaps he wanted the whole world to know about him. I didn't ask him again. Who knows, I might be very famous in the next day. It was such a headache. I didn't want the peaceful home of mine to be surrounded by chaos. But there was again nothing I could do.

"How do you think that we remained in hiding for so long among humans?" Black pulled me out of my thoughts.

"I don't know." Whatever it may be, there would have been something. There are so many cameras and other things around for security since the last century. Something like a video or a photo of an angel would be spread around the world if one were to appear, just like how angels fell from clouds a few months ago. We were bound to know about angels. But I hadn't heard anything about any otherworldly beings like them. They were just present in the lores and legends. For sure the government or the people in power couldn't do something this grand.

"Gaia had forbidden interference of the beings from the other worlds because life on Gaia is too young. Other lifestreams respect her choices and allow her decision. Therefore, we can enter this world, but we have to be inconspicuous and in hiding. We cannot reveal our presence or meddle in the lives of people."

"Then why are angels even present here. You even have an embassy here."

"Demons were once angels, but they were corrupted. We consider it is our responsibility to protect other beings from the harm they may do. Though we sometimes give a helping hand to others from the shadows."

"I see."

"If something interferes, Gaia will try to stop it by means like erasing the memories of people who know about our existence, fixing the damage and other things. So everything will remain in the natural flow. Just like how Gaia prevented me from killing that guy. To the people, it'll be like a fading dream they can not remember no matter how hard they try." Black explained it to me and it actually made sense.

"Am I right, Gaia?" Black spoke softly this time, but I knew these words weren't for me.

"Are you talking to the lifestream again?" Black responded after a short moment.

"No. Did you forget? I can not talk to lifestream anymore. But they should be listening to me, right? So oftentimes, I try my luck."

Sadness and longing were etched so deep inside his words. Everyone would be sad if their mother stopped talking to them. I'd really do anything to make my mom notice me if she was angry. I too would suffer from this emotional pain if my mom refused to talk to me. And he was going through such pain. He was suffering from anger, loneliness and many other things that I didn't know about yet. My poor Black. I instinctively caressed his hair as I was lost in my own thoughts. I wished I could do something and help him talk to his mother.

"It's not right. Why would everyone remember the incidence of angels falling from the sky? Why would Gaia not erase memories of everyone?" I had a sudden thought.

"Once again, Gaia is young. She does not have the power to influence all the living yet. But perhaps Gaia wanted to uplift this prohibition. I don't know for certain. The whole truth of this matter is not yet out."

"Does it mean that if you go away, I would forget about you?" It was such a scary thought. "Does it mean that what happened to me when I was a kid was because Gaia erased my memories? Is that why I have been having a dream about you?" If that is true, then Gaia can erase my memories anytime and I won't even know that my Black even existed. Wasn't that too cruel?

"You can say that what happened to you long ago was also done by lifestream, more or less."

"Will I forget you again?" I was really scared this time. I clenched him tightly, subconsciously. I really didn't want to let him go away. I didn't want his memories to fade away. I didn't want my life to become incomplete again.

"I allow you to know my existence. Gaia won't forcefully do something that an individual won't like. I have heard of humans and angels living together. Gaia did not make their life hard. Just a little pact of non-disclosure is needed." Black explained to me. I was contented and happy. The fear that I had was removed from my heart by the roots.

"And even if Gaia would want to do so forcefully with you, I won't let her. Do you know, my... deeds on Gehenna have even frightened the lifestreams. Gehenna had tried to stop me, but she was not able to. Mother could also only summon me back." Black told me. I realized how that bubble-like protection of light on Oliver disappeared when he had shouted and warned Gaia what he might do.

I felt warm in my heart. Such was my lover who ready to go against the entire world just for me! Such was my angel, whom even the lifestream feared. Such was my man, who was just... the best.

His words felt like he was saying, 'What if it's the world? If you want to do something to the one who belongs to me, you'd have to go through me and I'll make sure you'll regret it.'

I felt so safe and secure in his embrace. I felt that I wouldn't ever need to worry about anything else as long as he was by my side. I only had to worry about him though, because even though he had power and strength, he was just a big baby.
