"Do you know how badly you messed up?!! You put me in an impossible position with Cuchillos!!" Oscar yells with his hands tightly grasping Cesar's collar, pulling him closely as I watched with a hand over my mouth, tears blurring up my vision. I hid on my side of the fence, silencing my sobs as I watched through the peep hole.
"Oscar .. please," Cesar pulls Oscar into a hug as Oscar is reluctant to return it.
"Hey. Hey. I love you mano. But you're done."

And with that Oscar deserts Cesar in the backyard. I somehow managed to allow my body to jump over the fence and to crouch beside a crying Cesar who fell to his knees not knowing what to do.
"I love you too. Just know that."
Cesar looks up and engulfs me in the biggest hug.
And there we were. 2 grown teenagers, crying in the backyard of the Santos residence.
