The next few periods went by quickly and Tyler realized he would soon be faced with the terrible first day, lunch experience.

He walked into the cafeteria.

"Hey you!" A pretty black haired boy called out.

"Me?" Tyler mouthed, pointing at himself.

"Yes you."

Tyler went to sit down at the table. He forgot his lunch, but he was okay with that because he really wasn't very hungry.

"So, new kid. I'm Brendon, this is Ryan, and Dallon. And over there at the end of the table is Pete and Patrick. Usually Dun sits here too, but he ditched after fifth. And Eva is usually here too, but she's sick." Brendon really exaggerated the word sick, sounding sarcastic.

"Frank's gone too." Dallon added.

"They're totally-"

"Ew!" Ryan said quickly interrupting Brendon.

"Hey, you and Brendon-"

"Okay, let's not scare the new kid." Ryan said interrupting Dallon.

"So new kid, who do you like?" Brendon asked.

"First of all, it's Tyler. Second, uh... no one."

"Who is she?" Brendon blurted out.

"Shut up!" Tyler said blushing, "He's in like all my classes."

"I knew it!" Brendon practically shouted.

"Knew what?!"

"That you're not straight." Dallon said sadly.

"Don't worry. Me and Ryan are dating, and Pete and Patrick are a thing too." Brendon said.

"Okay, so why is Dallon all weird then?"

"He just feels left out his girlfriend, Breezy, goes to a different school." Ryan said.

"I just miss her!" Dallon basically cried.

"You'll see her after school, princess." Brendon mocked.

"Anyways, who do you like?" Ryan asked.

"His name is Josh."

"DUN?!" Brendon shouted.

"Shut up! And I don't know his last name."

"Blue hair, pretends to be annoyed by Mr. Way," Ryan explained.

"Yeah, he plays the drums." Tyler blushed.

"We have to set you guys up!" Brendon squealed.

"NO OH MY GOD THAT WOULD BE SO AWKWARD NO!!!!"

"Chill dude, he likes you too." Dallon said.

"Why?" Tyler asked, not meaning to sound as insecure as he did.

"He thinks you're funny and hot. Oh and he thinks it's cute that you play the ukul-"

"UKULELE ISN'T CUTE!"

"He also said you're probably cute when you're mad. He was right about that." Brendon said as Ryan playfully punched his arm. Brendon leaned over and kissed him, "but obviously I only love my Ry!"

"So he likes me back?"

"Yeah Ty." Dallon said.

"Don't call me Ty."

"Why?" Ryan asked.

"The last person who called me Ty was... well he didn't call me that until after we um..."

"Oh, I get it you guys had-"

"Yes! Now shut up and don't call me Ty."

"You are a strange person and we talk about sex a lot, get used to it."

"Weird. It's my first day and I already came out to a group of strangers and found out my crush likes me." Tyler said attempting to change the subject.

"Nice subject change." Brendon said under his breath.

"Lucky you! He's in your next class!" Ryan said.

"Yeah but he ditched."

"He'll be back. He only left for lunch. He's probably across the street giving someone a blowjob." Brendon said and Tyler just stared at him, "Kidding."

Tyler nervously giggled and felt himself blushing. This was an interesting friend group, but he was excited to hang out with them more. He was also excited to see Josh next period.

The bell rang and Tyler walked to his next class. He saw Pete with a devious grin. What was Pete up too? He hadn't heard Pete say a word, but Pete was up to something and Tyler knew it. Then walked in a nervous Josh. Oh no.
