Zi You and Lui Yun Part 1

Zi You felt the grip on his hand tightened. He turned his head towards Lui Yun, eyes filled with confusion.

"What are you doing?" Zi You asked, staring at Lui Yun, who was staring off into the distance.

"I don't like this. Whoever had sent that sniper needs to be found. I can be hurt since I am already use to it, but you never should have been. Those people don't deserve to live, scheming, selfish bastards." Lui Yun spoke through his gritted teeth, his eyes filled with hatred.

"Lui Yun, look at me," Zi You used his hand to push Lui Yun's face towards him, so that they were face to face.

"I'm fine, that's all that matters. Your life matters just as much as everyone else, you should know that I would never be willing to let you die in front of my eyes, that's the type of person I am. I have gone through death once, what more can happen if it happens a second time?" Zi You spoke calmly, almost as if he was consoling a child.

Lui Yun closed his eyes, "That's why I'm so scared. You have gone through death once, that is why you don't care about your life. But the truth is, I'm afraid of you being gone from my side the most. I'm afraid that you would toss your life away once again, and I will not be able to do anything."

"But I'm here with you now, aren't I?" Zi You showed a grin, softly kissing Lui Yun's lips before pulling away.

"Do you regret meeting me?" Lui Yun suddenly asked.

"No, that thought has never come into my mind and it never will." Zi You replied not even a heartbeat later.

"Thank you, I don't know what I would be doing today if it weren't for you being by my side." Lui Yun said, his face full of worry lightened. His eyes that were dim brightened as he stared into Zi You's eyes.

Zi You couldn't help but inwardly sigh. Seems like even this man could have such thoughts. But it was only normal. It had only been a few weeks since he had woken, two weeks since he had gotten out of the hospital. Zi You understood why Lui Yun would be worried for him.

Of course, he was still experiencing pain from his wound, but that was only a few times. Other than that, he had been getting back into a normal routine. Well, except he was only really staying at home.

He had also been trying to find some information about his family. Since him getting injured, the first time they had met, Zi You wasn't able to tell them anything. Now, he was hoping that he would be able to tell them that he was still living. Just not in the same body.

Speaking about family, Zi You wanted to know more about Lui Yun. He already knew that how Lui Yun had grown up had never been a pleasant way of living, but he still wanted to know. He wanted to find out more information about how Lui Yun's life was before meeting him.

But every time he asked, Lui Yun didn't say anything. He would always divert the attention to a different subject. Zi You knew that Lui Yun didn't want to talk about his past, and Zi You was not going to force him to. If Lui Yun wanted to tell him, then Zi You would wait until that day.

Speaking of, Zi You and Lui Yun's drama, As Time Passes had gotten so many views. Others praised it as a tear-jerking drama unlike what others have watched before. Many had commented that even though the villain, Zhang Xu, had done all of those things, deep down they just couldn't hate him.

Other viewers had kicked the female lead out and decided to ship Mu Yan and Zhang Xu together instead. If only those people knew the truth.

Zi You looked at Lui Yun's handsome and dazed face, unable to suppress the small smile that appeared. What would he had done without Lui Yun by his side?
