Colby wakes first, a small shift as his eyes blink open trying to focus on the room. The TV was still on, playing some kind of infomercial. The soft blue hues of the screen wash over the room, wash over the boys, keeping them company as they had slept. One of only two light sources in the room, the second being the laps on the end tables which sat on each side of the bed they were on. Though those were significantly dimmer compared to the TV.

Trying to focus, his hand runs up over Jake's stomach, making him looking down to see he had somehow slipped off the other boy. His body now resting against Jake's side, his head tucked near his shoulder.

Blues blink up to look at the other boys face, Jake is still breathing deep and low, still asleep. He doesn't seem to know yet that Colby was awake. He looked so soft when he slept and it made Colby smile. Sitting up slowly as to not disturb him, which is a bit void as he leans up to press a kiss to Jake's cheek. Though it is more of a brush of lips, affection that Jake wouldn't notice but Colby could remember. Affection Colby didn't think he was capable of, then again he was doing a lot of things he never thought he would ever do. Not with another guy, not with anyone really. Even when it came to girls he didn't allow himself to get close to anyone, not until Jake.

Rolling over he lets out a soft sigh, trying to shake his thoughts away so he could focus on getting out of the bed. Once on his feet he rolls his shoulders and stretches out his arms, his hands coming down to pat down his wild hair. Turning to look over his shoulder he sees that Jake has moved, now on his side, his hand out reached and resting in the open space Colby had left. The sight makes Colby smile, turning back around he finally makes to the bathroom.

He flicks on the light, not bothering to close the door. Leaning against the counter over the sink, he sighs and turns on the cold water so he could splash it over his face. Looking up into the mirror he sees his red face, the dark circles under his eyes were darker than normal, it almost looked like a bruise. His cheeks still red and irritated from teh hours of crying then sleeping. He couldn't help but think he looks horrible and part of him wants to go back to sleep. But he feels like a shower would be nice right now, wash away the last few hours of stress and sweating.

Poking his head out of the bathroom and back into the room he looks over at Jake who is sleeping still, sprawled out on his stomach now. Even in his sleep the other couldn't help but move, good thing Colby was a heavy sleeper. The sight makes Colby bite at his bottom lip, exiting the bathroom so he could crawl onto the bed and lean over the other. Pressing a soft kiss the side of Jake's face, his cheek and temple and the corner of his mouth. His hand passing over his back and up his neck to press into his hair,

"Jake..." Colby whispers near his ear, "... wake up, take a shower with me."

Jake grumbles something under his breath, his face twitching as his body slowly shifts around. Trying to wake up as he felt the kisses, against his face, against his shoulder and back. Soft touches, dragging him from his dreams.

"Colby?" Jake grunts out his name, his eyes blinking a few times before they actually stay open. Trying to look towards Colby, who sits back to smiles at him. His hand still playing with Jake's hair, his head tilted to the side before he slides down some, laying on his side and making small kiss-y sounds at the sleepy boy.

Jake chuckles, his lips turning up into a smile as he looks at Colby. It almost felt like this was a dream, one of those happy moments in movies before reality come crashing down and suddenly he is alone. But Colby was still there and he felt so soft and warm. His own hand comes up run over Colby's side before he leans in to kiss the other boy. Their lips lingering together, as if they were too tired to move, or maybe they were too selfish to move away and lose the contact.
