We went inside and I went straight to the room.
"You don't think you was a lil bit too hard on her?"
"You hear the way she was talking to me?"
"I heard , but that's still ya baby sis."
"Oh well."
"Jayda.."
I sighed "what?"
"Go apologize. You can't let her live somewhere she don't wanna be."
"Apologizeeee? H*ll no."
Herb rolled his eyes "you stubborn"
"Whatever I don't care."
"Jayda."
"Herbert."
"Go."
"No! If she want to stay she apologizing to me. What I got to apologize for? This my house."
Herb made a stank face and sat down on the bed in front of me.
"Jayda..that's ya sister."
"I know."
"Don't be like this. If something happen to her you gon regret it." I sighed and just gave in
"Fine!" He smiled and I walked to Maya's room.

"Unpack ya stuff.."
"I know Herb forced you to apologize. You don't got to."
"Maya I want to though. I'm sorry boo..don't leave me." Maya looked at me and a tear rolled down her eye
"I love you Jayda..I'm sorry"
"It's okay mama. I need you around."
