"Miss Lodge," Mr. Weatherbee said, behind his desk.

He called for Veronica to come down to his office. He said that he had to request something very important to her.

"Riverdale High is a safe place for everyone. We have a high, friendly reputation here. But, we cannot keep this reputation if gang members like you, are wearing your silly leather jackets on school grounds."
He said.
"I would like for you to take off the jacket in school. You know the rules. In fact, you've witnessed the Serpents make that sacrifice."

"I completely understand, Mr. Weatherbee." Veronica nodded.

"Good. You are dismissed." Weatherbee responded.

Veronica got up, and walked back home.

Today was not a good day, at all. She could literally feel her reputation go down as fast as a lightning bolt.

As soon as she arrived to her destination, her father was on the couch. He was sitting, a proud smile on his face.

"Welcome back, mija." Hiram greeted.

"Daddy? Why are you here?" Veronica instantly asked.

"Well, a little birdie told me that you had joined the Ghoulies." He replied. "I'm so proud of you, mija. Look, you're even embracing it. Wearing the jacket apon your shoulders at all times."

Veronica rolled her eyes, taking the jacket off. "I knew you were in on this. I'm already sick of it. What exactly do I get in return for doing this stupid idea?"

"Well, like Penny said, no more bothering the Serpents. You get to lead half of the gang, and I'll be sure to get over Archie Andrews. Isn't that worth all the sacrifice, mija?"

Veronica sighed, "I guess. As long as you stick to that deal."

Though, she'll still stick to her plan.

The next day, Veronica rushed to Betty's locker.

Elizabeth's expression changed once she saw Veronica run up to her.

"Betty!" Veronica called.

"Oh, hi Veronica." Betty nonchalantly said.

"Okay, I know you hate me and all, but I really need to ask you if-"

"Look, Veronica. I really don't appreciate what you did. Nobody does. So it wouldn't make any sense if I would help you out or anything like that. Seriously, I don't wanna talk." Betty walked off.

Veronica sighed.

Meanwhile, Cheryl was in the student lounge, talking to Jughead. She was waiting until Betty walked in.

Betty sat down on the couch next to Jughead.

"Hello, cousin." Cheryl smiled.

"Hey Cheryl." Betty greeted back.

"So, where's your Archie Andrews?" Cheryl questioned.

"He didn't come to school today." Betty replied.

Cheryl tilted her head, "good."

"What?"

"Nothing." Cheryl turned the other way.

Betty rose a brow.

"Say, you guys wanna come to Pop's with me after school? Just the three of us." Cheryl suggested.
