Once the girl got into the closet, she found Jughead in there.

"Jughead?"

"Veronica?"

The two just stared at eachother.

"What are you doing here?" Jughead asked.

"Trying to hide from whoever that is!" Veronica answered.

"What about you?" Veronica questioned, as if she didn't know that he was also hiding.

Jughead crossed his arms. "I live here."

Veronica raised a brow. "What?"

"I live here." Jughead repeated. "In this very closet. The janitor doesn't even come in here, anyway."

"Wait, you live here? I don't believe you." Veronica said, in disbelief.

"Yes, Veronica, I live here. My dad kicked me out."

Veronica was still confused. "You're still gonna stay here? There's someone with a gun out in the hall."

"I'm aware." Jughead nodded.

"You're gonna die." Veronica said.

"Again, I'm aware." Jughead replied.

Veronica couldn't stand this guy.

She grabbed his hand, and brought him out the closet.

"What the hell? What are you doing?" Jughead shouted.

"We're getting out of here!" Veronica responded.

They headed to the exit. Through the crowded halls.

The two made it to the door. They finally escaped the place.

Out of breath, they made a long distance from the school building.

"Veronica, what the hell? You just made me leave the roof over my head."

"Jughead, you could've died in there. Don't you care?" Veronica crossed her arms.

"Well, where the hell am I going to live now?" Jughead asked.

An idea sparked in Veronica's mind. "Follow me." She said.

They walked all the way to Veronica's new house.

"You are going to live here." She opened the door. "With me."

Jughead's eyes inspected the house he was in. It was big, and new. Well, atleast it smelled new.

"Well? Do you agree to live here with me?" Veronica questioned.

Jughead looked at her. "Yeah. This could work."

Veronica smiled. "Great. Here, let me give you a tour."

Jughead had already become comfortable in his new home.

Veronica even gave him some money, for food and for clothes, because he left his stuff at school.

He couldn't thank Veronica enough for her generosity.

Jughead sat on the couch, watching television.

The raven haired princess sat on the couch next to his. She already looked stressed.

"Already? You're stressed already? What now?" Jughead inquired.

"We escaped the school shooting, but who knows who died in there? What if Cheryl died? What if Kevin, or Betty died?"

"So, what are you planning? To go back? You're gonna die." Jughead looked back at the TV screen.

"Yeah, but I can't just sit here, while the people I care about is in the same building as a crazy guy with a gun." Veronica argued.

"Okay, okay. Fine. Go back. I'm not coming with." Jughead put his hands up.

"I can't go back alone." Veronica furrowed her brows.

"Oh well. Too bad." Jughead shrugged.

Veronica groaned. "I lend you a place to live and you don't bother to help me save lives?"

"Look, you may be a princess, but you're not a superhero." Jughead put a bag of kernels in the microwave.

"I'm not a princess, no matter how much I look or act like one. And also, I can't be a superhero, but I can be a hero." Veronica tried to think of something.
