Chapter 19: Suzy

Mingrui's POV

Y/N said that she's going to the restroom first and I'll just going to wait for her at the cafeteria, but, I saw Suzy following Y/N at the girls' restroom, so I followed them both

I didn't go inside, I was just outside eavesdropping at their conversation, cause I can hear it from here

Y/N: Suzy? Hi.

Suzy: Hello, Y/N. You seem to be good friends with Mingrui.

Y/N: Um, not THAT good friends *smile*

Suzy: You know Y/N? You seem to be a good and a nice person, also have a pretty personality and...

Y/N: What are you implying? But, thank you for all of those compliments, I hope those weren't fake. I

Suzy: Of course it's not fake but there's something on your face.

Y/N: Huh? What is it?

Suddenly, I heard a light spank sound, I then raised my eyebrows wondering what just I heard. Did Suzy just slap Y/N?

Suzy: It was pain.

Y/N: S...Suzy...what...did you just...?

Suzy: Well, i'm obsessed with someone Y/N!! Guess who it is!???

Y/N: Grrr-...Lt... gu...of me!

It seems like Y/N can't speak properly? Whats happening? I want to go inside but this is the girls' restroom.

Suzy: I am obsessed with him, yes him! I am Obsessed with Mingrui! If Mingrui is not beside me, I feel sad, broken, emotionless, and empty! I don't want to feel that anymore, I want to be happy just like the other people!! I always become resentful of my condition! Anf finally Mingrui came to my life , he made me happy, he made me the most happiest girl in the world! So, don't you dare take him away from me! I will own him!

Y/N: Your crazy, Suzy! Look at your se-

Suzy: That's what i'm talking about! If Mingrui is not beside me, I AM BECOMING CRAZY!

Y/N: What the hell is wrong with you?

Suzy: Stay away from him or else I'll beat the shit out of you!

The conversation ended, so it was true, it was true that Suzy is bullying Y/N. I felt uncomfortable and nervous when Suzy said she's obsessed with me and she will own me...gulp

I saw Y/N went out from the girls' restroom as we looked at each other, her face was filled with fear

Mingrui: I...I heard the whole conversation.

Y/N: You were eavesdropping?

Mingrui: Yea. Just forget it, let's go to the cafeteria.

Y/N: I don't want to go to the cafeteria here in school, I want to go to the Sweet Lane Infront of the school, there are macarons at the Sweet Lane shop!

Mingrui: Okay, but it's a little bit...expensive...there.

Y/N: Don't worry, I'll treat you.

I smiled and she smiled back as we walked towards the school gates and walked through the crosswalk, and with that, we arrived at the Sweet Lane shop.

We opened the glass door and come in making the bell on top of the door or us ring

The lady who's wearing a cute uniform of the Sweet Lane smiled at us

Shop clerk: Hi *bright smile* what's your orders for today?

Y/N: Well, um, I would like to buy this plate of macarons, please?

Shop clerk: Sure. I'll be right back with it.

The shop clerk walked away, and we picked a table, we sat down at the couple table, of course it's just the two of us, why would we pick so- nvm.

As we were waiting, a random girl approaches us, i'm assuming that she goes to the same school as us, because she's wearing the same uniform as us

Girl: Hi, Gou Mingrui! Can I take a picture of us?

Mingrui: ...

Girl: ?

Mingrui: ...uh, sure?

Girl: Yay~

The girl immediately grab her phone from her sling bag and takes a picture of us she thanked me and her eyes landed on Y/N, which was playing with her phone.

Girl: ...uh, are you siblings?

Mingrui: No.

Girl: Nevermind, thanks and I'll get going.

She smiles and waves, I returned the smile and gave her a little wave

Minutes later, the shop clerk come near at us holding a plate of macarons

Shop clerk: Here's your order! Hope you enjoy! *Walks away*

Mingrui: ...Wow!

Y/N: Haha, it's so pretty, let's dig in!

We started eating, there was an awkward silence but Y/N broke it.

Y/N: Hey Mingrui, I...
