Lyla's Point Of View

I have a pounding headache. I tried opening my eyes, but that only increased my pain.

Someone's hands clutched my left hand tightly. The person's fingers moved their thumb gently against mine. That makes me calm. Only one person knows that.

Come on Lyla. You have to face him.

I moved my head as much as I could.

Multiple gasps echoed throughout my ears.

Who else is here?

"Lyla?" A voice I didn't recognize spoke.

Finally, i gathered enough strength to open my eye.

I was blinded for a few moments, but they focused on the one holding my hand.

"Dylan." I breathed.

Tears fell from his eyes as he let out a shaking breath.

He hugged me tightly.

"I'm so sorry. I, I was just so, surprised. This is all my fault. I should've been a better friend." Dylan sat down, letting out all of his emotions. "I'm so sorry." He sobbed,

My nose tingled as I felt tears well up in my eyes.

"Dylan. It's okay. Really." I'm used to people rejecting me.

A boy standing next to Dylan began to rub his back soothingly as Dylan tried to stop his crying.

The boys rubbing his back made eye contact with me and quickly hid behind another boy.

I frowned, confusion spreading throughout me.

I studied the boys who were at my apartment.

They were the last thing I remembered after the gun shot.

They feel, familiar, like I've known them for a long time.

Then I caught sight of one of there's eyes.

My memories erupted through my mind.

"Lyla, it's us." The boy lifted his chin up. And there was a very familiar collar.

"Taehyung."

I pointed at the same boy.

"Taehyung?" My voice cracked.

The boy smiled softly.

"Hello Lyla."

My heartbeat on the monitor began to beep faster.

"No. No way." I gasped, looking at them all quickly, searching for the resemblance.

They're, humans!?

"Calm down Lyla,. It's alright." Dylan soothed, rubbing my hand once again.

My heart returned to normal after a few moments.

A sob escaped someone's lips.

I searched through the faces of each boy, looking for the one who is crying.

He is trying to wipe his tears away, but only smeared them. His eyes are puffy and nose slightly red.

"Come here." I smiled kindly at him, raising up my right arm for him.

The boy stared at me with wide eyes, lips parted, and completely frozen.

I caught sight of a pair of bunny teeth.

"It's alright Jungkook." I encouraged.

The minute I said his name, the boy rushed forward and hugged me.
