Chapter 5

The flickering light finally turned off as well as the rest of the lights in the room and all you could hear was Corey falling over stuff and scrambling to turn a lamp on. Colby left from behind me to help Corey find a light and Jake filled in his spot hugging my shoulders. When Corey finally found a light that worked Sam pointed the camera at Jake and I and when he did Jake let go of me quickly. "What the fuck was that, like honestly what the fuck" Sam said freaking out "are we sure it wasn't a short in the wires or something" Colby asked. Corey went over to the light that wouldn't turn on and made sure it was screwed in all the way and plugged into an outlet and sure enough there was no reason for it to not turn on. "This bulb says it was replaced three days ago" Corey said while Sam gave Colby the camera. Sam went into the restroom to check that light and nothing was wrong with that one either making me tense up. "Guys I don't get scared easily but this shits sketchy as fuck" I said while Colby was filming me. When Colby pointed the camera the other way Jake came up to me and put his arm around me comforting me, "I don't know about you guys but I want to leave, this aint right" Corey said picking up his backpack "We promised we would stay OVERNIGHT not for five minutes and to leave" Sam told us. "Okay but still what if something happens to us, Devyn and Navi are waiting for me at the house". "Okay guys lets stay a little bit longer and if nothing happens it could just be the electrical stuff" Jake tried calming us down. "Ok" Corey said putting his back back down and sitting on the bed. As soon as he sat down the hotel room phone started ringing. "Fuck that" Corey said hopping away from the phone. "Dude this has happened to you at the last couple of places we went to" "Exactly i'm out" Corey said getting his backpack again. I pushed Jakes arms off of me and went to answer the phone. "Hello" I asked, no response, I hung it up and everyone was asking what they said and I just answered with, "No response". Colby gave Sam the camera and hugged me because I started shaking and panicking "I would hug you but Devyn would kill me sorry" Corey told me "Same but with Kat" Sam pitched in. "Maybe we should leave" Colby said over my shoulder then letting go of me. "Im okay I'm just a little freaked out" I reassured everyone, "Lets stay for a little bit longer and if nothing happens we will leave, because its already midnight, we could stay till 3" Colby decided"Im down" I agreed and so did everyone else. Jake did a flip onto the bed and lifted his legs in a weird sex position. Colby ran over to him and slapped his ass and both of then started laughing like idiots. "well that happened" Sam said also laughing and filming them. Colby bent down to plug in his phone and I jumped over him like you would in a game of leap frog and when I landed back on the floor I tripped and fell on my side laughing at myself. Sam was laughing and filming us while Corey said "all three of you guys are crack heads" while shaking his head in shame making the rest of us laugh even more. Colby layed down on the couch and you decided to take a picture and put it on your Snapchat

Sam sat up the camera in the corner of the room and we all chilled out on our phones for a while. Jake and I napped on a bed and Corey, Sam, and Colby were on their phones on the other bed.

*time skip*

After a good hour nap I felt Colby shaking me. "What" I groaned "DID YOU NOT HEAR THE FUCKING LAMP FALL" Corey and Jake yelled from across the room freaking out "what are you talking about" I flipped over facing Colby. I sat up and looked over to where the lamp used to be. "oh shit" I said jumping off the bed, still in my blanket, and walking over to the shattered lamp. Jake ran over and held me back saying "There is glass everywhere don't get too close". "isn't that the one that didn't want to turn on" I asked turning to face the guys "YES" sam answered. I started shaking even worse than before so Jake hugged me from behind. "Did you get that on camera" Colby asked Sam "I think so I'd have to watch it back". I took out my phone because I felt it buzz, it was Xepher calling me so I ended it and when I saw the time it was 3:12 am. "guys y'all might want to check the time" I said in a soft voice. "WHAT THE FUCK" Sam and Corey said at the same time. I was still trying to wake up so I yawned and rubbed my eyes and when I did a weird twitch overtook me and when I opened my eyes everything was black for a moment. When I blinked a couple times I twitched really hard again and my vision came back, it was like I wasn't in control the only thing I could do was blink. "Are you ok" Jake asked me softly in my left ear. "I think" I answered. "DUDE LETS JUST LEAVE" Colby said throwing his chargers and stuff into his backpack. When everyone got their stuff together everyone started running out of the hotel and to the elevator. I still had my favorite white fluffy blanket wrapped around my shoulders. "Fuck that i'm going down the stairs" Colby told Sam who was pressing the down elevator button. Colby ran down the stairs, then Corey, then Jake, then me, then sam. I started running down the stairs and tripped over my blanket and almost tumbled down the stairs but I grabbed Jake and the railing to stop me. "Here get on my back" Jake told me since he was in front of me. He bent over so I could jump on his back, and since I was really freaked out I didn't have time to argue with him, because I know he would definitely argue so, I jumped on his back piggy back ride style and he jogged down the stairs. "Awww" Sam said filming us "NOPE" we both yelled at him and flick him off. "We are literally running for our life and all you can think about is that" Jake said out of breath and Sam laughed "yup"
