I wake up and look at my watch. It's already 11am. Quickly I stand up in to my daughter, Lane's room but she isn't there.
"Andy? Is Lane with you?" I call my husband, Andy, worried.
"Yeah she's with me, darling. Don't worry. We're just out for a walk." He laughs. "And you need to sleep too, you haven't slept that much in the last few days. You are always up, caring for Lane." Andy adds.
"That's really cute. Thank you but I would do anything for our little princess." I answer and smile.
"I know. I would also do anything for her and of course for you, you two are the most important things in my life." Andy says.
In the background I hear Lane laughing.
"Dad, Dad look what I can do." She calls to Andy.
"I'll hang up now. Lane is waiting. I guess we'll be back in an hour. So relax a little. I love you." Andy says.
"I love you too." I answer.
