This fire is engulfing me,
burning everything it touches.
My mind is in pain,
my soul cries,
but it's tears feed the flame as gasoline.
The pain is unbearable,
but I won't scream,
I refuse,
because you want to hear my pain and troubles,
you think you can fix it.
You think if I confide in you,
all of my troubles will disappear.
Poof.
I'm broken,
I'm hurting,
but you won't save me.
I don't want you to.
I want you to leave so I can burn alone.
Leave so the last thing I see is absence.
Leave,
or else I'll make sure to burn you too.

PoetryI wrote this series of poems in some of the darkest states I've ever been in. I hope my suffering comes through my writing in a way that can be understood by many. Please enjoy!
