You've tossed around my feelings,
You see?
I can't be happy,
Because my heart still weeps for you.
I can't be sad,
Because your heart was never mine to take.
I can't be angry,
though it was you who decided to lie and cheat,
for I still fought for you,
knowing my heart was at stake.
Still,
You betrayed me!
It was more than my heart could take.
And, when my heart broke to pieces,
You walked the other way.
I wanted to run after you,
To make you understand,
To prove to you I was worth it...
But I couldn't even stand.
You watched from afar,
and laughed.
It was then I looked away.
Maybe I'll fall in love again,
Maybe some other day.
