I sat on Colby's lap just looking out the window.
Sam decided to break the silence, that's a new one. He's usually quiet and keeps to himself. "Why?" I look at him in his eyes that are focused on the road, Colby is looking at mine. Colby decideds to also bud in "Kylee, why in the world would you wanna do that?"

"Because I'm just tired, tired of everything. Tired of living. I just wanted to leave, finally. Be at peace and not have to deal with the stress of living life it's self. Because I'm just done. I'm done with the hate, the fighting, the stress the.. the everything. I just want to leave it. Hell if my dad and brother found peace, maybe I could too."

Sam pulls over on the side of the road. We make eye contact.he looks scared... "Kylee, why didn't you tell us? We would've helped you through anything." I've always been terrified of having this conversation. "Because i was scared." i huff. Colby looks at me with the most concern in his eyes I've seen. "Of what? Why were you scared?" "i was scared of you guys not wanting to help or you'd think i'm faking it or you guys would hate me and encourage it" i didn't realize how bad i was crying. "kylee we are here for you 100% and we want you to live. we love you..." colby said as calm as possible

The guys nod and because I'm still on Colby's lap and he holds his arms out for a hug. Of course I had to accept it.

I rested my head on his chest , I fell asleep in Colby's arms pretty quick. my body doesn't want to talk about this anymore. it's given up

Colby's pov

I look at Sam who had just started driving again. My arms are still wrapped around Kylee. "Colby?"
"Yeah?" I whispered so I don't wake up Kylee
" I think Kylee should stay in your room for tonight, She feels safest with you obviously. I don't want her to be in the living room where she can just leave and try again, ya know what I mean?" I nodded and looked down at Kylee again "yeah that's fine, I know what you mean."

C- hey guys, me and Sam agreed that it would be better if Kylee slept in my room cause she feels 'safest with me' I don't know but when we come inside be quiet. She's sleeping rn

J- oh my god she's okay? Thank you guys for finding her

D- Kylee, kat and i are gonna have a mental health girls day tomorrow, Treat ourselves boo. if she wants to come with obviously <3

Co-baby, I don't think she'll be mentally ready to go out for a bit... sorry ♥️

E-yeah we should just give her space for a bit so she isn't overwhelmed with everything again.

C-we just pulled into the driveway. Everyone in the house rn shut up when we walk in.

As we walk in we see 4 people in the house. Dev, kat,Corey, and Jake. Sam puts his finger to his lips in indicating to shush. I walk up the stairs and to my room and Sam is behind me trying to make sure no one is gonna come over to bother her. I gently lay her  on the couch and put a blanket over her. I look up at Sam and he nodded at me. He closed the door and I just crawled into bed and layed closet to the wall. I fell asleep almost immediately.

I woke up due to the vibrations and buzzing from my phone but a feel something around my waist and I look down to a Kylee with her arms around me. She looked so peaceful in her sleep, super calm and cute. Nope gotta stop staring or I'm gonna look weird if she wakes up. I hear sam's blow dryer on so I knocked on the wall to get his attention. 3knocks means come here. So I knocked 2 more times then the dryer went off I heard a muffled "okay" we've created a code system cause we cool kidz

Sam walks him and awh'd when he saw what was going on "can you give me my phone?" I asked. He snickered at me and kylee while handing me phone then leaving.

Kylee shifted in her sleep and almost fell off the bed but because I'm the hero I am, I caught her by her waist and that's when she woke up. She had immediate panic and crawled up on the bed as fast as she could.

"Thank you Colby" she hugged me real quick and then sat up cris cross. I sit up against the wall. "For what?" She got a look of sadness on her face.

"For helping me last night. I'm sorry for being rude during the Abby situation as well.everything is just overwhelming and then you have the-" I hugged her because none of that was her fault "none of that was your fault Kylee I understand why you were upset, but you can't let stuff like that get to you." I remembered something." Oh damn, you're probably wondering why you slept in my bed, uh yeah so sam thought you felt safest with me. Whatever that means. And that you shouldn't be in the living room Incase you left unnoticed and you try that again. i let you sleep on the couch in here but then you woke up and was gonna cry so you slept up here instead" She looked at me with a small smile.

"well I do feel safe when I'm with you. You're just a amazing guy and you make me feel better just by being around." Well shit, im a tomato now. She took notice and giggled. She came over to me and sat in my lap. "Can I be honest?" She looked up at me and I don't know what she's about to say so I'm terrified. Just nod, PERFECT ANSWER! I nodded and she looks at my eyes. Oh no. Don't get lost in her eyes, don't get lost. Damnit I'm lost
