I can't believe that we just did that. I was surprised actually that they visited me here. But I can't explain my feelings right now. I am on the state of this so called 'euphoria' but earlier I am totally sad. Mad at myself. When I heard them talking about my bestfriend I can't resist myself to felt affected. Its like a suicide. I felt sad to him. But I was surprised that Kayla did followed me. It feels like she replace my sadness into excitement whenever I am with her. She's bringing the best in me, her smile is like my personal medicine. I hope I will find out more about her, her past, our past. I know there is something more about us. It's unfair to her side. If I really wanted to know my past about her then I have to endure all the pain memories.
'There will be a time in your life that you have to decide to go back or refresh all your past memories to get all the clues or even the hidden answers that you've been looking for' I thought to myself. As I am talking to Kevin, I keep on glancing at her. When she caught me, she smiled at me and so did I. So after our dinner. It is time for our mini show. Like I said before, once a month there will be a mini show or mini concert in our hospital. But tonight is special, because its my birthday celebration actually, pre-birthday celebration since my parents decided to have a party on my birthday and to announce our engagement to public. As the next heir, I have to do all those stuffs. I sighed thinking how big my responsibility would be. Nobody knows that this show is my pre-party. Only some of the staffs knows because my mom asked them personally. This is the first time that I am celebrating my birthday. Whenever its my day, I rather do a medical mission, travel to some community and offer for free check up, charity and orphans. I love taking care of people. I love interacting them. It helps me to forget sometimes about my life. It gives me hope to find the happiness. And I guess, I finally found that happiness.
After preparing the venue, some visitors and patients settled in. I can spot my friends already. Also Kayla and her friends were still here also. I guess they were actually serious of what they had said earlier. Me and Kevin will be the one to perform first. Next mom will announce something that I don't know. She said that its a pre-announcement after that there would be a board meeting the next day. Now I am quiet curious about it.

After the emcee greeted the guests, he called us both, Kevin and I to joined him in the stage. He give us thumbs up before heading down the stage. Kevin keep on shaking his hands so I patted his back to comfort him. After he gain his normal self. We proceed to our designates instrument, I'll be playing the piano while he will be playing the guitar. Both of us are going to sing the song. "Good evening people, ladies and gentlemen" I greeted them so did Kevin. "This song is one of my favourite song, and I dedicated this song to each one of you especially to this amazing woman I met before and then, I know some memories just seems so blurry to me by now but its quiet crazy coz its just makes sense on how did I find you, and how did I find you again?" I explained while starting to play the piano. "I hope you enjoy this song" I finished then I signal Kevin to start. He started the first verse. He's voice is really nice. He really can sing very well.

We both finished the song, and it really went well. I smiled at them and waved my hand. Then mom get up to the stage. She hugged me. I embraced Kevin. "Good evening everyone" my mom greeted the guests. "Thank you for tonight, especially to these two creatures" she said and people laughed for referring us creatures. We acted both offended. I pouted then she gestured me to stand beside her. "Tonight, is a special night, as the current chairwoman of this hospital, I greet a happy birthday to my one and only daughter Dr. Anderson, aside from that I thanked her for this event and for being a great doctor, she is so passionate to do her job and gives hope to people. I and everybody saw all her hardworks and perseverance. So, from this night forward I welcomed to you all Dr. Anderson the new Chairwoman and CEO of Anderson Medical Hospital." she finished and I was shocked. Some cheered but I just remain standing. I don't know if I will be glad or whatever. Is I am ready for this? I am still not quiet okay. My mom squeezed my hand to get my attention. I thanked them. Then after that the rest of the event go on. After that everyone congratulated me. Then they bid their goodbyes. I face my mom, I know this is insane but I was never been told. "Mom, we need to talk" I told her. "Lets meet at home" she said to me and I nodded. She bid her goodbyes. I walked to my friends, "it seems the cold hearted is back" my colleague John said "shut up" I said. "I am not aware of this" I added "so what's your plan?" Alex asked me "I don't know mate" I said. John pointed from my behind so I followed his finger, I totally forgot about them. After that shocking announcement, I actually forgot about the song I sang. "Hey alex" Sam greet me. I just smiled at her. "Nice voice you've got there" Keana beamed me. "Congrats Miss young CEO" Jimmy said. I'm still not used to it. I never dream that position. "Thanks guys" I told them. I stared to Kayla, I know she feels what I felt right now. "By the way we're going home by now" Jimmy said, I nodded. "I'll drive Kayla home" I told them and she just shrugged. They bid their goodbyes to us. I hold her hands and guide her to my car. I opened the door for her then I quickly walked to driver seat. "You're not happy about it? Right?" she asked me. I sighed, squeezed her hand "a little. I'm just shocked" I told her honestly. "You're perfect for that position" she said. "No one deserves except you" she added, "they chosen you because they believe in your ability" she said. "Babe, if you're afraid about it, I want you to know that its normal because you care, its normal because you're trying, its normal because you're just a human" she finished. "Thanks babe" I told her while kissing her hand. I started the engine. "You have a really sweet voice babe, you both did well earlier" she said, I just blushed. "And, thank you for finding me" she said. "I love you Kayla" I told her. "I love you too babe, my young CEO" she said and this is the reason I love her. She bring up the best in me. Then we just talked until I drop her to their house. I bid goodbye to her and kisses her again. Then I drive home. I know, tomorrow is the new beginning of my life. I hope you'll be proud of me Jasper. I told myself.
