LUIGI's POV

"Kuya, aren't you going to the Madrigal's residence?"

Napatingin ako kay Luis. He is wearing a white polo and black pants. Hindi rin nakatakas sa mga mata ko ang mugto niyang mata na agad niyang tinakpan ng sunglasses n'ya.

"Why would I?"

Bago pan'ya ako masagot ay nakarinig kami ng mga yabag pababa ng hagdan. Ra'essah was going down the stairs wearing a white and black dress. Mugto rin ang mga mata n'ya na itinatago rin n'ya sa sunglasses.

Seriously? Why are they wearing those clothes? Are they going to a burial?

Oh no! Don't tell me--

"Luigi Xavier Frey on Earth?" Luis was snapping in front of my face.

"Oh? Where are you guys going?" I ask for the confirmation of my thoughts.

He stared at me. "Today is Hanzel Madrigal's cremation, Kuya."

I suddenly step back.

"Oh! Oh! No, Kuya. There's no coffin there. Remember what I said a while ago? It is a cremation not a burial."

"Are you coming with us, Kuya Luigi?" Ra'essah asked.

I shook my head. "Even though I wanted to, you guys knew that I can't!"

They both sighed. "Kuya, two years had passed already. It will never happen, okay?"

I look at them threateningly when he started talking about that situation. Luis raises his both hand and smile. I look away.

"Okay! Okay! Come on Rs, Athea must be crying right now."

Napatingin uli ako sa kanila. Nakatalikod na sila sa akin at nagla-lakad na papunta sa main door ng bahay ko. I shrug my head.

Pero, nakita ko na lang ang sarili kong nagla-lakad paakyat sa hagdan, papasok sa kwarto ko, naliligo bago nag-palit ng damit.

Aish! Why do I care if Althea is crying right now?

I just see myself again driving my car to Madrigal's residence. Not entertaining the thoughts inside my head. It would just make me confused.

I stop a few blocks away from their chapel.

Madrigal's family was outside the chapel, while Luis and Ra'essah are still inside their car. I observed everything in my surroundings. Silence covers every second then suddenly.

A sad song played. There are some people who went outside the chapel, crying vigorously. Then after a second...

My heart is pounding loudly.

Four men in black are carrying a coffin. I suddenly felt stiffness in my whole body and my mind was turning all over. No! Not this time.

I was with Cathlyn, my gorgeous and beloved secretary. I was holding her right hand. Finally, she is officially mine. We are in the backseat of the car on the way to the airport, we are bound to Davao City where one of my important meetings will be held.

On the way to the airport, I was smiling all the time. The cold Luigi is gone and it is all because of Cathlyn Suarez.

I was enjoying the momentum when the car suddenly stops.
