Ch. 5 The Truth

Lucy POV

"Hey, Lucy!" Ashley screamed from the living room

"Whatcha want?" I said with my head poking in the room.

"Has Mitch called you or anything?" Ashley asked her eyes full of concern.

"I'm sorry I haven't heard from him in the last hour" I responded

        Lachlan was out and about looking for Mitch and Ashley and I were staying home. Mitch doesn't know his way around Australia the only place he knows is the bar around the block and Lachlan says that he is 100 percent sure Mitch went there.

I feel so bad for Mitch I may have over reacted a tiny bit but, it was still rude of him to do that to me.

"LUCY LUCY!!!" Ashley yelled.

"Huh?" I asked confused as I snapped out of my thoughts

She rolled her eyes "Lachlan said he is bringing Mitch home" Ashley said

I was nervous for myself I don't think I can ever look at him the same.

As I thought that the door slammed open and walking through the door was a sweaty Lachlan and a drunk Mitch.

"What did he do at the bar?" Ashley asked curiously

Lachlan's eyes filled with sadness . Ashley noticed and and said

"Lachlan,Mitch and I are in a relationship for 3 months now I need to know the truth" Ashley said her voice cracking

Lachlan sighed and began to tell his story.

"When I walked into the bar Mitch wasn't drunk he was sitting in a corner banging his head on the table" Lachlan looked at Ashley then looped his hands in to mine.

He then continued by saying

"A red haired girl with tan skin walked up to him an started to talk they were laughing i was making my way over when Mitch's phone rung he looked at it and his eyes were gleaming of madness he then looked at the girl and nodded his head the started to kiss lightly and then things got more heated and I sprinted over to Mitch and dragged him across the bar while he was fighting me"

      Lachlan stopped talking and I could see the gears in his head turning to decide weather he should continue or not.

"When we got out of the bar Mitch asked me what did he do back there then he broke down crying I gave him a plan of saying that he was drunk he gave into it and now we are here, I'm sorry Ashley" Lachlan apologized

"It wasn't your fault" Ashley said tears in her eyes

"Can you please tell Mitch that we are over" her voice cracked at the end and I could see tears staring to drip from her eyes.

"I'll see you to-tomorrow" she stammered

She left without saying another word.

"Lucy since I have been telling you the truth I want to say that Ashley and I have dated for a week before her Mitch started dating" Lachlan said out of the blue

"Well you don't have feelings for her anymore do you?" I asked concerned that the love of my life is leaving me.

He chuckled and shook his head

"Your the only one I have feelings for"

Lachlan smiled and kissed me on the head and I knew that he was my prince.
