We had arrived at the campsite which was just a fairly large patch of open space surrounded by nothing but trees. We had to walk for at least half an hour to get here, and it, was, hell.

It was already beginning to get dark so we were told to set up our tents as soon as possible, and then some had to help set up a campfire and then a few people were to go and collect water from a small cabin room just up from where we were set up.

I attempt to help set up my tent but honestly they would be better without me, I'm next to useless.

"That is not how it goes, Ariana." One of the girls in my class says, a girl who really does not like me I must add.

"Well I'm trying." I reply, trying not to get annoyed with her.

"Yes well princess, try harder." She said in a mocking tone, a few of the other girls around us laughed.

"What the hell is your problem huh? I don't know what you have against me because I've never, ever done anything to you whatsoever! It's pathetic, you and all your friends claim you hate the 'bitches' of our school when it's funny because you are the bitches of our school!" I say angrily. I some what feel bad for what I say but then I remember why I said it in the first place.

"They're just jealous Ari, because your popular, well liked and beautiful and they're well... not." Evan smirked from behind me.

The girl called Lucia, scoffed and then walked away to help with the campfire, her friends quickly followed.

I smacked Evan as soon as they all walked away.

"I have to share that tent with them you know! You shouldn't have said such things to them, I know I was bad but that was deserved, yours was uncalled for. I swear I'm not going to sleep for 3 days!" I say in a hushed but firm tone.

He raised his eye brows at me, "Who cares they deserved it! They say shit to you all the time and you just take it, why?"

"Because I don't want to hurt their feelings, they get enough crap from everyone in our school without me piling on." I say feeling some what guilty, I hope their feelings weren't effected. Probably not they have all been called worse.

"Your too nice babe, you know if your worried about sleeping arrangements you can stay in my tent." Evan said with a wink.

Don't get me wrong he is extremely good looking, I'm just not interested.

"No thank-you, I'm sure I'll manage."

As I was about to continue to put up the remainders of my tent my biology teacher shouted mine and Evans names.

"Yes sir?" I ask, walking over to him.

"I want you and Evan to go and college the water bottles stored in the cabin room, it is straight ahead up past that large tree with the boulder next to it. Don't be long, and make sure to bring back plenty for everyone, I'm sure there Is a cart you can carry it back in up there." He said hurrying us off.

As we began walking outside the camp Evan tried to put his arm round me but I shrugged him off.

"I quite like having some alone time with you, don't you like it babe." He said coming closer to me.

"Stop it Evan were on a school trip for god sake, I just want to get through this, please?" I look at him with tired, pleading eyes. Suddenly I hear the snap of a branch coming from behind us, I quickly snapped my head round, looking to see if it was someone from our class.

"What's up?" Evan questioned.

"...Nothing." I reply

We continue walking until we are about 10 minutes away from the campsite, I was beginning to think we must have went the wrong way, but then I saw the cabin.

As I was about to open the door Evan grabbed my wrist and spun me around pressing me against the door. "Why won't you give me a chance Ari? Don't you have any idea how much I like you? How happy I could make you, why won't you just give me a chance?" His warm breathe fanning over my face.

"Look Evan I do like you but as a really good friend, come on it's almost pitch black our here and we didn't bring flashlights, lets just get the water and go, yeah?" I plead.

"No! Not until you say you'll at least give me a chance, come one what does a guy have to fucking do to get in your panti-" Evan is cut off by a low husky growl coming from no more than ten feet away.

We both stiffen and he gradually lets go of me, both of us turning round, painfully slowly.

The air was knocked out of me. In front of us were about five wolves. But not just any wolves, I mean these were like... Unusually big wolves. Making them look even more terrifying.

The only thought running through my mind was we had to run, or die.
