Thomas collapsed into his bed, falling asleep shortly after. Having a cold took a lot out of you.

Meanwhile in the mindscape, the sides were arguing. "What if he isn't better and doesn't finish the video script in time? It'll put us behind schedule." Virgil continued. "You know how that would upset Logan..."

"Ok negative Nancy, you do your thing over there and I'll do my thing over here. I've got a lot of ideas, and I'm sure Thomas will be better by tomorrow." Roman said, crossing his arms like a pouting child.

"Ah yes. Continue arguing. It'll do so much good." a cool voice silenced the other sides. "What're you doing here Deceit? We have no purpose for you at the moment." Logan inquired.

"Logan that was a bit rude." Patton chided. Logan sighed. Deceit gazed smugly across the room and then focused on his gloves. "I heard you bickering all the way from my room so naturally I had to check out the situation." Deceit answered.

"Well, I think we're doing ok without you  right now so we'll try not to disturb you again. Sorry we bugged you kiddo." Patton said, a strain ghosting over his freckles face for a split second before evaporating.

Several comments were made. A new argument sparked, each clipped remark adding to the flame.

"Just-just get out of here!" Virgil shouted eventually, silencing the others. Deceit paused for a moment, then a malicious grin spread across his scaly face. "As you wish. I'm sure you'll do so well without me." Deceit drawled, before sinking out of the common room.
