CHAPTER TWENTY (Jealous)

"I CAN'T believe it Mr. Montenegro, kayo pala ang itinadhana ng nag-iisang anak ni Jose." Natutuwang sabi ni Mr. Acosta, isang businessman din na kaibigan ni Mr. Gonzales.

Vince smile as his hand is tightly holding on Tricia's bare waist. Tricia on the other just give her formal smile to everyone they intertained.

"...You have a very beautiful wife Vince." Buong paghanga naman na komento ni Jake Arcela, one of Vince's collegues na kaedaran lamang niya.

"Thank You Jake." Sagot niya sa matigas na boses, tila hindi niya nagustuhan ang paraan ng pagtitig at pagkomento nito sa kanyang asawa.

"...Bagay na bagay kayo! Kung nabubuhay pa siguro si Jose, sobrang matutuwa yun." Komento naman ni Mr. Acosta, a businessman at his middle age.

Iilan lamang iyon sa mga businessman na medyo malapit kay Vince.

"Hey Vince!" Sabay silang napalingon ni Vince sa babaeng tumawag dito.

Hindi na nagulat si Tricia ng makita si Samantha, of course kasama nito si Anton at papalapit sa kanila.

However, Vince was a bit shock of Anton's presence.

"Hi Vince." Samantha gave him a peck kiss on his check. Sabay baling kay Tricia. "Hi." She simply said giving her fake smile. "MISIS MONTENEGRO." May diin nitong sabi, there is obviously a sarcasm on her voice.

"Nice too see you again Samantha, Vince's EX GIRLFRIEND?" May diin ring sabi ni Tricia, giving her fake smile at her.

Napahalukipkip na lamang si Samantha.

"Hi Trish, you're so beautiful." Bati ni Anton.

Tricia smile at him as they give each other a beso. Vince's eyebrows met.

Anton glance at Vince. "Mr. Montenegro, it's nice to see you again." Walang ka-ekspresyong sabi naman nito sabay abot ng kamay.

Nakipagkamayan naman si Vince. "Same to you." He hardly said while looking each other intently.

"Oh my God!" Biglang sambit ni Samantha ng magsimula ang tugtog para sa slow dance. "It's time to dance. You know what, we can exchange partners!" She insisted.

"Of course!" Sang-ayon ni Tricia.

Vince's frown goes deeper. Huli na para magreklamo siya nang kunin kaagad ni Anton ang mga kamay ni Tricia at bahagyang lumayo sa kanila.

Samatha was smiling as she hold Vince's arm. "Come on Vince."

He clench his jaw. Walang nagawa si Vince kundi ang sumunod dito lalo pa't napagitnaan na sila ng mga sumasayaw ng slow music.

Pasulyap-sulyap si Vince sa kinaroroonan ni Tricia at Anton habang sumasayaw sila ni Samantha.

"What is this Vince!? How is this happened, kakakilala niyo lang ni Tricia tapos malalaman ko nagpakasal na kayo!?" Panimula ni Samantha na may inis sa mukha. "As far as I know, wala kang girlfriend nung magkakilala tayo and definitely not Tricia!" Dagdag pa niya sa tila nagdadabog nitong boses, enough that Vince could hear and not anybody from their side.

Vince frowned. "There's no problem with that Samantha. I like her."

"You just like her! Not love!-"

"I'm starting to love her." He murmured seriously.

Bahagyang nagulat si Samantha. She bitterly gulp. "K-kahit na!" Mapait niyang sambit. "Why did you marry her in the first place? Is this some kind or business arrangement?"
