“Daisy, when you come home, I might not be here. I have yoga class” Aunt Jade said excited.

“Okay” I said understanding.

“Can you sign my book, Ethan!”

“Can you put your number in my phone!”

“Can you walk me to class!”

Yup, all that commotion got my attention that Ethan was here at school. Along with…

“Logan we should totally go out! I’m free!”

“Can I ride your motorcycle sometime Caleb!”

I groaned. Our last encounterment, at dunkin donuts was embarrassing as hell. They were practically ganging up on a poor girl to make out with her best friend! And they didn’t even know I was his long time best friend. Yes, was. Not sure if we are even friends…

“Daisy!” Ethan called out with a smile, as he saw me. He passed the crowd of girls in between us, like they were invisible.

Okay, weird. What did he want now?

Ethan finally made his way to me in the hallway. I was really tempted to leave and go for class.

“Hello to you too, Ethan” I gave a small wave.

“So have you thought about my proposal?” Ethan asked.

“What proposal?” I asked.

“Where I’m asking you to go to the halloween party at a friends house this Friday” Ethan said like it was the obvious thing in the world.

“I thought I said no” I stated.

“I didn’t think you actually meant that” Ethan said with a eyebrow up.

“Maybe I did” I argued.

“Maybe?” he questioned.

“Okay, so definitely no” I smiled, turning to leave.

He grabbed my arm. “No, I like maybe” Ethan said quickly.

“Okay” I said slowly, getting out of his grasp. It was weird how Ethan was touching me right now.
