It was lunch time. And let me tell you, it was stresser than doing homework. Everyone was like in their own group. You have the popular group, the nerds, the kids who did drugs, the players (which included that guy), the admirable people, and even the anti-social people.

NO ONE was alone. Which I guess made me the awkward loser, new girl. So I did the reasonable thing: eat lunch outside, with nature.

I just got under a tree and starting biting into a green apple. I was so bored, doing nothing. I had no homework because I was here for only one day. And then I thought of something! Why not climb this tree? I’d climbed trees in my hometown with both Ethan and Reuben at times.

I put my hand on any branch I could reach, slipping my foot in any cracks on the bark to climb north.

“Hey, nice ass” a husky voice spoke from below.

My face went 100 degrees up. What the hell?!

I climbed one more branch and sat on it, balancing myself. I looked down to see blue eyes and a smirk. I couldn’t help but think, ‘Have I seen those eyes before?’.

I thank myself for being a smart girl and wearing shorts under my summer dress.

“You saw nothing!” I called with a smirk of my own. “I have shorts under!” I said proudly.

“You're telling me what you have under your dress? Then, what else is under besides shorts?” he asked with a smirk.

“Pervert!” I screamed in frustration.

“It’s not my fault if you're so desperate to tell me what clothes you're wearing under right now” he replied.

“But, I wasn’t” I argued.

“Shorts” he replied. “That’s something that’s under your dress. You said so yourself” he smirked.

“Because you said you saw my ass!” I yelled.

“So you're okay with that?” he asked with a boyish grin.

I crossed my arms, disapprovingly, and gave him a blink of my eye lids. I think we both know the answer to that.

“You didn’t deny it!” he said with wide eyes.

“Gestures speak louder than words! The answer is no! I don’t want you looking at my ass!” I said annoyed with him.

He gave me a smirk. “Is that the good girl side speaking? Because I can totally get you drunk so we can make out” he persuaded.

I scrunched my nose in disgust. “I don’t drink. That gives you liver destruction, which causes you to near your death door” I argued. “And even if I was drunk, I wouldn’t sleep with you” I added.

“Wait, sleeping was in the question? I thought you wanted to make out first, but going all the way is fine” he shrugged with a smirk.

“WOULD NOT!” I pointed out. “I WOULD NOT SLEEP WITH  YOU!” I was shouting key words, like talking to a two year old.

“Don’t put a sad face” he teased. “You’ll have plenty of chances to get your time with me” he winked, pointing to himself.

I gave a fake laugh. “Not even in your wildest dreams” I retorted.
