"This morning, you'll leave for North Korea. You'll be transmitted there in separate group so no one will dialect anything" Hak Young's announcement rang in Jimin's head.
They packed everything in their own bags with silence enveloping the whole house. A heavy aura of nervousness and hatred.
"Think of the positive side on this" Jin mumbled to himself but everyone turned their head to hear him out.
"We can protect ourselves better " he started after a long pause of thinking. "Yes, protect ourselves! We won't be helpless when one of us get in a dangerous situation " he added and it made their hearts soft when they thought of Jungkook.
They all their own thoughts like,
"We'll be invincible in our military service! "
" I'll get promote and be the idol who who reach the highest rank in their service! "
"And its like a military themed vacation"
While they started feeling lighter with their situation, their voices echo through the house while Jungkook stayed in his room.
He held the drifted bear in his hands. "I'm gonna learn how to protect myself so no one will get hurt " he smiled at thought of protecting his brothers.
"I'm gonna be the strongest" Jungkook whispered while looking at bear's eyes.
"Jungkook, let's go. The car is here" Jimin burst through the door with a smile.
"Let's get it" Jungkook grinned and Jimin just laugh at his response.
The car went quietly. As Hak Young instructed, they were separated into two groups. Yoongi, Taehyung, Jin and Jungkook is on the first car while the rest followed.
Hak Young cleared his throat and talked to them through the rear mirror, "People in there are disciplined. They grew up really different from you and I hope you would understand them"
"We're all Koreans anyway" with those words, the second car group felt that they've hated this guy too much.
"Hyung, you shouldn't cry" Jimin teased Hak Young and they all grin.
"Are you finally opening up to us? " Hoseok joined in.
"Don't call me hyung, I'm 21 you rascals" Hak Young faked his annoyance.
"Wow, you're more matured than Jungkook and he's younger than you! " Namjoon exclaimed in amazement.
"Wait, you've been ordering us around and you're 21?" Hoseok suddenly realized and then slap Hak Young's arm.
"We need to tell the other guys. This kid, treating us like a joke" Jimin massaged Hak Young's neck.
They all felt relieved. And they started imagining how it will be if the two Koreas, really unite as one. It warms their heart to know that there will be no war.
They all laughed and continued teasing each other.
The first car have a different agenda, they keep on talking who will be the highest rank.
"I'll be on the medicine support. Rank doesn't matter to me" Yoongi cut their arguments.
"I'll train myself with the sniper " Taehyung proudly announced and they all started to think specifically about their goal.
"All that matters is no one will get hurt " Jungkook was calm but they can feel his concern.
"You should worry about the guys on the other car. They are the 'baby' group " Jin joked and they all laughed.
"Namjoon would probably get hurt every time we're on the training" Yoongi predicted and they grin with him.
"He'll--"
Their car screech to halt. They were all pulled forward because of inertia and hit their heads in the seats.
"Everyone, are you okay? " Jin asked immediately right after recovering from the stop.
"What's happening? " Taehyung groaned at the pain on his neck.
"We're under attack" their driver announced grimly.
"What? Who would attack us? " Taehyung was confused. He was sure they are with the North Koreans and they are from South Korea. Who would confront them so fearlessly?
"Stay here. Lock the car and don't come out" their driver ordered them. After they nod, he came out of the car and gunshots soon filled the air.
The car door was left ajar. They looked horrified when they saw their driver's was soaked in apool of his own blood.
They froze in their seats. But Jungkook, quickly gathered himself and thought of a way they could escape this.
The door behind the van opened and a guy in black. A black cloth covered his face but they can feel his the enemy.
"Come out" he ordered. They all hesitated to move.
The guy pulled his gun and pointed it at Yoongi. "Move or I'll shoot him" he said and the four timidly move their body at the command.
"Raise your hands and don't even think of being brave" the guy added and soon, they were reunited with the other members who was already outside.
Numerous body were in the ground. Dead, with bullets on their body.
"Wait, you're a North Korean" another guy joined in and raised Hak Young's chin using his gun when he recognized his features.
"Wow. A rare find. " Jungkook's group kidnapper said in amazement. "Some North people who doesn't know how fight" he added and Hak Young breathed in.
It's because of trauma. He can't do anything but clenched his teeth. He can't protect them and he felt useless
BANG!!
The guy threatening them, drop to the ground. The other one tensed up and held his gun up in the area.
"Drop it, now." Hak Young stood up. No fear can be seen in his face.
"You get arrogant because of that? We are more than you think--
Hak Young's feet cross over his face without any warning. His left cheek bleed because of Hak Young's attack.
"Why you" but before he could attack him, a gunshot pierced his ankle. The attacker wailed in pain and drop to the ground.
A line of wire appeared up in their heads and followed by three more. Three guys zip their way down from different directions.
Hyuk landed first and introduced Hok and Yun. They all reached for their hands for a formal handshake but the boys are still cautious.
And as they saw another form appear along the lines, they relaxed and recognized Ha Rim.
"How have you been?" she asked and they heaved a sigh. "We're fine, thanks to you" Jin smiled.
"I'm sorry it took long" Ha Rim scratch her head as she apologize. "Welcome to North Korea" she introduced and they looked around.
They only notice how it is different from South Korea. Along the ride, they were all trying to comfort themselves from their own fear.
The whole place is covered in snow because of winter and the darkness of dawn is still up in the sky. The place reflected how they felt when they were attacked. Alone and full of fear.
"Let's go inside" she invited them as a big gate yawned open for their entrance.
The boys gathered their courage and move along as they anticipate for what will happen next.
