"We're talking about unification between North and South Korea" The president explained it to them.
"With all your respect Mr. President, but what are you trying to say?" Jimin spoke up and gulp as he saw the serious look on the President's eyes.
"This year, UN had a chance to talk to the Prime Minister. They talked about compromising with all the issues they have. Specifically with South Korea. They came up with the idea of making a somewhat, 'fairy tale' for the world to see" President Kim explained.
"And that fairy tale is BTS marrying one from North Korea" Seokjin mumbled as he put the pieces together.
"But why us?" Jungkook was more confused. "Because BTS is known worldwide. It will be easier and more captivating to for the audience" Namjoon answered.
Everybody in the room went silent. Picking up the new information and absorbing it slowly.
"Are we going to marry her?" Taehyung asked.
"For the eyes of the people. This will last for about two years at max. "President Kim leaned back at his chair. He's getting stressed as well.
"This is a shocking for everyone who will be involve. I've talked to your parents a week ago and they all agreed that this is for the better of our country"
No one spoke at the mention of their parents.
"The girl is the Supreme Leader's daughter. She agreed to this as well."
"How are we going to play this out, Mr. President. Not all of us can act" Yoongi was concerned if they can perform well.
"You won't marry her immediately. It will be bizarre even in the eyes of people."
"The plan is, to let her inside the company of yours. Make some appearances at different televisions without revealing her identity and some paparazzi will catch the two main leads and announce the big bomb." A man in glasses and suit came in.
"I'm Lee Hak Young. Political Strategist from UN and I came up with this plan" all eyes were focused on the man.
"We've already talk with the biggest media company around the world and it is a hundred percent guarantee, that there won't be a bad article to the two people involved." Hak Young confidently explained and they all nod.
"So who's the lucky man?" The president asked.
BTS look at each other and Namjoon asked the president to give them time to talk.
They were left inside the room as the president and Hak Young went to attend the Prime Minister.
"This is crazy" Jungkook immediately freaked out.
"I know" Hosoek breathed out. It's his first words after the whole situation and it scared them that he might faint later.
"Let's take this in the perspective of the president."Seokjin began and they listened.
"It will be good for all the people around the world and who would have thought that we could be super heroes without super powers? When we were kids, we always imagined ourselves as Superman or Ironman but this time we could be ourselves and save the world as well" Seokjin added and no one seemed to argue.
"Who could have this honor other than us, right?" Namjoon joined in.
They took heart in the words that Seokjin said. They realized that he's right.
Jungkook who is observing everyone, saw how nervous his hyungs are. It hurts him. They were all afraid of the mistakes they might do that will destroy the plan or might worsen the situation between the two nations.
It will be a burden to whoever that will be.
"I will do it" Taehyung volunteered as everyone look at him.
"To think that I'm the only one who has an experience with acting." He laughed and they were a little bit sad. Specially the older ones, they can see how he is trying to lift the burden off their shoulders.
"Hyung, I'll do it." Jungkook said.
Before anyone could stop him, the Prime Minister entered with Ha Rim beside him. Even the president and Hak Young was there.
"That's good. Jungkook, meet Ha Rim, your future wife. Ha Rim meet Jungkook, your future husband." Hak Young introduced.
Ha Rim acted with manners as she walk towards Jungkook. She extended her arm and offered a hand shake. "Nice to meet you, Jungkook" she smiled.
Jungkook was bewildered by the sudden turn of events as he reach for her hand.
"M-Me too" He was breathless as they shake hands.
Ha Rim pull her hand away a second after.
"Let's get this started." Hak Young smiled.
