The word toxic is toxic by itself, but when it isn't mentioned in a toxic sentence the pain inflicted by those words seem stronger and stronger as you think more and more about them.

We always let toxic words slip out. Whether it's intentional or not, doesn't matter. Our brains have their own way of letting negative feelings out, even if they could ruin more than just emotion.

The word toxic also applies as a scientific term, for something that could cause immense damage or pain to the human body by consumption, or just by a light touch.

We can also call cigarette smoke toxic. It hurts us, but this toxic is something we forget.

We let pigment be used as paint whenever we use our bodies as canvases when we're bored. That's also toxic.

When you think about it, we are toxic. And everything surrounding us can be toxic as well, only without us realizing.

But there's also the calming kind of toxins. Cigarette smoke calms some people down. It slows down their troubles- well, nicotine just has that effect on the mind when a smoker smokes. It's just a way of calming down for them. A toxic one.

The dumb thing is that we let any kind of toxins enter our bodies because we don't realize what we cause- or because we simply don't give two flying fucks about that.

We are careless.

And I hate it.
