Chrom~ Save Me

  You were running from your village. People were screaming "WITCH!" And "BURN HER!" Just for you being able to wield any weapons and use magic. Why must the Gods look at you in this way. You ran into a forest and came upon a path. You followed it until you could reach somewhere.

It was running on a month and a half and you were at least 7 villages off from yours. You kept walking when you noticed an army of dark soldiers and what looked like the prince and his army. They were battling fiercely against those knights and you noticed a woman in yellow was about to get hurt and she couldn't protect herself. You brushed your hands off and grabbed your bow from your blouse. A trusty weapon you have learned the most. Your mother taught you this before an illness took her. You shot the arrow and it went inside the soldier and he faded away. 

"Wha-" you heard the little girl say when the prince came over panting. 

"Who saved you?" He panted as you were watching from up in a tree.

"I don't know Chrom." She muttered as a man in a purple cape came over.

"I thought my tactics were on point." Said the man as you chuckled and jumped down. 

"Halt! Who are you?" Called a man in armor with a woman on a horse.

"Y/n. I came from y/v (your village). I was ran out by them for being a Tactician." You said as the man with blue hair came over.

"I'm Chrom and I want to thank you for protecting my sister Lissa." He said while holding his hand out. You shook his hand and smiled.

"Oh by the way, you just didn't account for the one in the woods so your tactics didn't really fail just not work out." You said as the man with white hair turned to you.

"Where are my manners? I'm Robin, that's Frederick. And that's Sully." He said as you smiled to them.

"Thank you so much miss! How can I repay you?" Said Lissa as you smiled.

"I'm just out roaming so no favors. I'll have to be on my way anyways." You said as a hand grabbed your shoulder.

"How about you join us?" Said Chrom as the man Frederick jumped up.

"You are too trusting. How do we know she was ran out? She could be a spy!" He exclaimed as you pulled up your sleeve where the burns were still evident. 

"These burns was there was of trying to kill me. They thought they should burn the witch but I escaped and ran. I've been on the run for a month and a half. Don't you dare call me a spy or it will be your last wish." You growled before getting ready to run.

"Please don't leave. Frederick is just overprotective." Said Chrom as you looked over your shoulder. 

"If we meet again, then I will join." You said before disappearing into the forest leaving Chrom speechless.

"Big brother, do you like her?" Teased Lissa.

"Oh quiet Lissa." He said as they began to set up camp.

Back to you, you were walking away and came upon a river. You splashed some water on your face and dried on your cape. Then, hands grabbed you and you screamed before being knocked out.
~~Chrom's POV~
The next morning, I woke up and saw Robin and Lissa playing. They were always cracking jokes. Virion came running in with a bracelet. Isn't that?

"Chrom! I found this by the river. We're right beside her hometown so this has to be the woman that saved Lissa.

"Gather troops." I called as my heart dropped. I didn't want her to be killed for just being a Tactician.

Robin set the plan of attack and we ran into her city. She was pinned to a board where they threw her into the water. It was heavy and she began to drop. She was going to drown! 

"Chrom! I've got this. Go get her!" Yelled Frederick as I jumped into the water after her. The sounds from above were faded but we're going fast. I couldn't let her die! I saw her with her eyes shut and not breathing. I took a dagger that I stowed in my back pocket. I cut the ropes and grabbed her body before swimming to the surface. I noticed that Frederick was dealing with the last along with Sully and Sumia. I felt something wet but warm fall from my eyes. I was crying.

"Y/n! Please still live!" I cried before giving her CPR or mouth to mouth. Lissa came over with Maribelle and started to heal her. Her heartbeat was better but she was still unconscious. We set up a tent to hold her in and I stayed near by.

Your POV~
I felt a rush of air go to my head as my eyes squinted at the bright light.

"Goodness! You're awake!" Yelled Lissa as your eyes widened.

"You guys saved me!" You gasped as she smiled.

"Actually it was Chrom's idea." She smiled and walked out. Chrom came in looking relieved. 

"Y/n." He muttered as you smiled.

"You know I wasn't trusting of you guys but now I see how far you came to save me that I understand. Thank you." I said as Chrom smiled. Then he flushed a red color.

"Y/n. That's not all. Do you believe in love at first sight?" He whispered as your eyes widened.

"Excuse me?" I said as his eyes shut for a second.

"Y/n. When you almost died in my arms, I cried out. I didn't want you dead. I cared so much for you and I love you." He said before making his way to the entrance of the tent and leaving. I thought for a moment and tried to go after him but fell. Lissa came running in.

"Y/n, you don't need to move!" Exclaimed Lissa. 

"Tell your brother that I love him too. He left before I could." I whispered as a tear left your eye. 

"Yes y/n." Lissa said before running back. I felt so tired so I fell back asleep.

Chrom's POV (Sorry for the many POV changes)
Damn it! Why me! Why do I have to be so stupid. I walked to the lake and splashed some water before turning around to go back to my tent. I walked in and noticed Lissa waiting. 

"Lissa? What's wrong?" I muttered before she hit me.

"That's for making y/n cry and this-" SLAP "Is for walking out before letting her say I love you too. Now you need to get your butt back in there." Exclaimed Lissa before I stood in shock and left to the tent. I walked in and noticed y/n was asleep but had puffy eyes. I really made her cry? She was sleeping softly as I kissed her forehead. 

Suddenly, lips pressed against mine and were very shaky. I kissed back and felt a sudden passion go through them. I opened my eyes to see y/n blushing. 

"Milady. Would you like to join me in my quarters?" I questioned as she smiled and nodded her head and I picked her up.

What you didn't know was that after your stay of a couple of weeks. Chrom was going to propose in front of the camp. You, of course, said yes.
