Beppi the ClownxReader~ Childish

You are Beppi's best friend. He always loved to play pranks and joke around. While he was a pain to mostly everyone, you had a crush on him. You fell for his goofy attitude and he really cared for you. He knew when you were sad and knew when you were mad. He did everything to see you smile.

What you didn't know was that everyone on Inkwell Isle 2 were bashing Beppi. If he was smart, then he would realize that if he wanted to be in a relationship with you, he'd act less childish is what they would say. He loved you since you came by and made jokes with him. They were puns but it was funny.

It was usually Djimmi and Wally Warbles who said that. It hurt him that they didn't believe he could be in a relationship. Beppi really cared for you. Could you see that?

You came back to Inkwell Isle 2 after talking with Elder Kettle and the two cups. Beppi was sitting on his little cart bent over. You heard how Cuphead managed to get his soul contract but you weren't sure if that was the reason he was sad.

"Beppi?" You questioned as he sighed. You went to walk over but he stood up and began to walk. "What's wrong?"

You tried to go after him but he blew up one of his dogs and the dog protected him.

"I know something is wrong? Is it because of Cuphead?" You asked as he spun around and glared.

"All about Cuphead? Of course! I'm just some childish clown who can't put up a fight. Just get away Y/n." Beppi exclaimed as his dog ran towards you. You were pushed to the ground and you flinched in fear before running away.

You missed that Beppi curled up and began to cry. It was partially because of Cuphead but also the constant reminder that he wasn't good enough for you. You would never love him. Tears continued to rush down his face.

You ran to Baroness's tent. She always helped you feel better and she also knew about your crush on Beppi. She also knew about Djimmi's and Wally's antics.

"Baroness, can I talk to you?" You asked as she smiled at you.

"Of course Darlin! Do you need some candy? I can ask lil Gumball to get you some candy." She said as you shook your head no. "What's wrong?"

"Baroness, Beppi is acting strange. I thought it was because of Cuphead but he sicked his dogs on me." You said softly as a few tears rushed down your face.

"Oh Honey! Don't cry! It's not all because of Cuphead. I'm pretty sure Djimmi and Wally have said some things." Baroness said as you snapped up.

"What?" You snapped.

"Y/n, Djimmi and Wally believe that you deserve better than Beppi. They told him he wasn't good enough. That he was too childish. You, on the other hand, love him." Baroness explained.

You thought for a moment as you remembered that Djimmi and Wally tended to say bad things about Beppi. He usually didn't take it to heart but this hit him hard.

"Y/n?" Baroness asked as you shook your head. "Please don't go hurting Djimmi or Wally. They took a toll from Cuphead since I asked him to."

"You asked him?" You questioned.

"You two love each other. What was said was uncalled so they got what they deserved." Baroness said with a laugh. "Go get him. I'll come with so his dogs don't hurt you."

"Thank you Baroness." You said softly as you walked out of her castle and towards the tall rollercoaster.

Beppi was still curled in a ball while his dog nudged him to look up. Beppi wanted to push away but he knew that his pup would not leave him be.

"Beppi?" You said softly as he looked up. You were standing there with Baroness behind and arms crossed. He looked down from his high perch.

"What is it Y/n?" Beppi questioned as you walked towards him. His dog growled as Beppi popped him.

"Can you come down? I need to talk to you." You asked as your e/c eyes met his wet gold eyes. He crawled down from his high perch and walked towards you. You quickly wrapped your arms around him.

"Y/n? Doll?" He asked softly as he felt some tears hit his neck. "Please don't cry."

"Beppi, please realize that you are good enough. You are so funny and goofy. It makes me happy. Beppi, don't worry about Djimmi or Wally. You are who I want. I fell in love with you and your goofy nature." You said as you saw a light pink tint his cheeks.

"Y/n, I love you too. I just thought you would need someone better and stronger than me." Beppi sighed. You kissed his lips softly as his eyes widened. It didn't take long for him to kiss back as you felt his hand touch your face. The kiss became passionate and filled with love as Baroness backed out.

"You are strong. Did you get many bruises and scars like Djimmi and Wally by Cuphead?" You said as he shrugged his shoulder. "They got their asses beat and you did fine. I love you not them."

Beppi looked down into your e/c eyes. He saw the truth and love. He hugged you and spun you around.

"I'm so sorry Y/n for everything. For acting rude and for the pups. They love you. They just followed my orders." Beppi sighed.

"I figured." You said softly as you interlocked your hand with his.

The two of you walked back to his rollercoaster where the two of you shared some kisses and cuddles. Djimmi and Wally did not say another word for Baroness would hurt them for hurting her couple that she helped with. The two of you became the biggest couple on Inkwell Isle 2.
