Mettaton.EX x Reader~ Always Here

You were the human who brought all the monsters to the overworld. You made them happy lived near them to show human traditions. One of your best friends was Mettaton ex. I know, the killer robot. He wasn't so bad once you got to know him. He was funny, sweet, attractive. Wait! No, don't think that. You were the closest friend to him. 

You smiled at Toriel trying some human food with Papyrus. You turned on the TV and saw Mettaton on TV. He had become famous and left the other monsters for fame. You missed him but you knew this was his dream. 

You watched him perform but noticed he wasn't doing so hot. People were booing him and telling him to go back to the Underground. You gasped as some oil like tears fell from his face. They were not giving him a chance. Your heart began to throb. 

"Mettaton." You muttered as Toriel placed a hand on your shoulder.

"Why don't you go visit him?" She questioned as you smiled and grabbed your jacket.

Mettaton was performing a couple of streets away and you had to get there. You noticed people leaving and running away. As you ran in, Napstablook was sitting there and saw you. His eyes widened before he looked happy.

"Y/n! Help my cousin." He said before directing you to his makeup room. You walked in and saw him sitting at the desk crying. His dream ruined because people aren't used to monsters yet. This could affect his career horribly.

"Mettaton." You whispered as he looked up and quickly wiped his tears.

"Y/n!" He gasped as he ran over to you and cried. The oil like tears stained your shirt but you didn't care. "Will I ever make my dream come true? Or will I just be a failure?"

"People are just not used to you guys yet. Give it time and I bet you will be the best. I know you! You never give up." You said confidently as he looked down. "You will not be a failure."

"I don't know." He whispered.

"You'll have people who don't care or hate it but you'll have people like me who love it." You said as his face turned slightly purple.

"No one can be like you. You are always there and making me happy. Always there." He said as you blushed. 

"Of course!" You said shyly as he looked at you. "I'm always here for you!"

"The reason why I love you and want you to come on my tours." He said as you and him realized what he said. "I-I mean."

"You can't take that back. I love you too." You said as he leaned forward and kiss your lips.

Even though you were kissing a robot, he felt warm and comfortable. He backed up and blushed a purple hue as you smiled and hugged him.

"I'll always be there for you. No matter what." You said as he smiled and hugged you tightly.

Later on after humans got to know Mettaton, many females swarmed to be at his side but Mettaton said something that made your world.

"I only love my Y/n." He said as some fans awed and some growled. You blushed but were so excited to be with Mettaton as he loved you as much as you did.
