Yusei Fudo~ Not Alone

 It was another day for you hanging out with Jack, Yusei, and Crow. The four of you would laugh and joke around about things. Yusei was the silent, stubborn. Jack was arrogant and stubborn. Crow was just plain stubborn. And there's you, the "I'm stubborn because I care" one. You noticed that Yusei was acting quieter and being absorbed in his duel runner. He hadn't ate or slept in a while and it freaked you out. Jack and Crow knew your crush but even they were worried.

"I don't understand." You said as Jack placed a hand on your back.

"We don't either. We tried to get him to talk but he stayed silent. I think it's because of today's event." Said Jack as Crow nodded.

"What is today?" You questioned as Crow looked down.

"The Enter-D reactor explosion. Yusei's parents were in charge of it." Crow said as your eyes widened. You knew Yusei and how he'd blame himself for it.
The door opened and it was Yusei looking away and going downstairs. He had a few tears stains and he wouldn't make eye contact.

"Oh my..." You sighed as Jack gave you a push.

"Maybe you can help him." He said as you blushed and walked down. You saw that he was on his duel runner fixing it but he was sort of out of it.

"Yus?" You said calling his nickname. He didn't respond. "Yusei, I'm worried about you."

"It's fine Y/n. Leave." He muttered as you grabbed his arm.
"It's most certainly not fine! You haven't ate or slept! Let me be there for you! Let me help!" You yelled as he looked at his feet. He pushed your arm away and made you stumble.

"Y/n leave." He sighed as you backed up.

"If it's going to be like that then fine. I'll leave." You snapped before storming up the stairs. You didn't notice that Yusei's tear fell harder. 

Jack stumbled down the stairs and pulled Yusei up. His eyes were angry and he punched Yusei in the gut.

"That's what you get. Y/n was trying to tell you not to fight your battles alone because she cares but no! You are still stubborn. I hope you're happy because she left." Jack snapped as Yusei's eyes widened.

"Wait like she left the house?" Yusei questioned.

"Yes! She said she knows when she's not wanted and left." Snapped Jack as Yusei stood up. "Don't even think about it, you're eating before you go or you'll faint."

Yusei was terrified because you left him. You were his rock, the one who helped him through everything and he didn't tell you that he loves you. He was so stupid.
After eating, Yusei jumped on his duel runner and ran off. He called Leo, Luna, Kalin, and Akiza but they hadn't heard from you. He tried calling your work but no reply. He was frantically looking for you and was loosing hope.
As if something could read his mind, he saw your duel runner parked beside the cafe your parents owned. He ran in and talked to your parents who said you were in your room crying. He felt broken and apologized to your parents then ran to your room.

Knock knock 

"Mom, I don't want to- Yusei?" You questioned before trying to shut the door.

"Y/n, I'm sorry. This anniversary of my parents' death hit me hard. I felt alone and broken and I didn't want you to get involved." He rambled as you looked at your feet.

"Yusei, look. I want to be your rock when you're like this so let me." You said as he hugged you. You felt tears hit your neck as you rubbed his back.

"That is why I'm here. I need you. I love you." He said before blushing. Your eyes widened.

"Yus, do you mean that?" You questioned as he nodded his head.

"I love you too." You said as he kissed your lips desperate and you could feel the tears on his face. When you backed up, you wiped his tears and kissed him cheek. "I will always be here."

"As goes the same for me." He whispered sending a chill down your spine. "I love you."

You told your parents who aloud you to stay with Yusei, Jack, and Crow. After Jack hit Yusei on the head a final time, he smiled and congratulated him while Crow just hugged you and congratulated the both of you.
