I think this one will be good. I'm going to start before he was born and go from there.

Random note here: Anyone else notice these things: Elsa has the same powers as Jack(we all know this one), what about NORTH mountain? (North, Santa). They could have named it anything else, but they called it North... hmmmm. Yeah I notice these things.

Once upon a time there was a man and a woman. The man harvested and sold ice for a living. Business was good, but it wasn't great. When he finally decided to propose to his beloved, with a very modest ring, he told her that life would be hard for them, but with love, everything would come together. The woman accepted the proposal, because money didn't matter to her and soon they were wed.

A few years later, the woman became pregnant. The man worked extra hours and extra days, just so that they could get everything the child would need. They lived in a modest shack, but they always had exactly what they needed.

When Kristoff was able to walk, his father began bringing him to work with him. What Kristoff didn't know was, his mother was very sick and his father brought him with him so he didn't have to watch his mother die. Which, she eventually did.

Even though he was consumed with grief and sickness, Kristoff's father never stopped working and still brought Kristoff with him. When Kristoff turned five, his father found him a baby reindeer, after accidentally killing it's mother for food. Kristoff laughed happily and hugged the baby reindeer and called him Sven.

Sven worked with little Kristoff while his dad worked with the men. One day however, weak from exhaustion and sickness, Kristoff's father fell into the icy waters and was never recovered.

The ice harvesters knew that Kristoff had no family, so they allowed him to travel and work with them, although they were too busy to properly watch the boy. Kristoff stayed with the group usually, but one day changed that all.

After a long night of work, the men hauled in their loads and began heading towards town. Kristoff and Sven were right behind them, but stopped when some palace horses ran by. In the horses wake, there was ice, which caught Kristoff's attention. "Ice," he said happily and steered Sven in that direction.

They quietly snuck up to some rocks and watched what was going on and watched the horses speed by. He sighed, they wouldn't catch up to them now. Kristoff looked around at the rocks and smiled, they could be his family! There were so many of them! He was soon giving each of them names and personalities.

As Kristoff grew, him and Sven went to work selling ice, for that's all he knew how to do. Business wasn't great, but it kept him clothed and kept him and Sven fed.

After years of hard work, he was finally able to pay off his sled. "We did it Sven," he announced to his reindeer who nudged him back happily. "We sure did," he replied back in a deep voice, pretending that Sven was replying.

Kristoff beamed at Sven and shared a carrot with him, before heading into Arendelle for the queen's coronation. He shined up his sled as they travelled into town. He was quite proud of his new sled after all.

Soon they arrived in Arendelle and parked in a semi secluded area. Kristoff shared another carrot with Sven as they waited for the coronation to begin. They weren't allowed into the palace, but Kristoff waited happily with the people in the streets to see whatever he could see. He chatted with Sven and had Sven reply back, which made people back away from him cautiously. He didn't notice of course, but then again he also didn't care.
